Jace's pov

It's been a week.

A fucking, damn, blasted week.

A week since Lionesse talked to him, a week since she last looked at him, a week since she last let him touch her, a week since his damn stupidity, a week since she LEFT.

He was an idiot.

Why did he have to put his arms like that.

It obviously freaked her out.

It SCARED her for some reason.

She rarely left her room after that, rarely even talked to her own friends or sisters as they call each other, and even if she talkes to them, it would be a cold voice that would send chills down your spine.

And the worst part of all, is that she looks like hell.

She has very dark circles under her eyes that not even the concealer or whatever it's called hides, she snarles if anyone dared touch her, especially a male and her eyes look as cold and harsh as ever.

He never thought that she, a woman as beautiful and kind as her, could look so cold and harsh. NEVER.

That was killing him.

Just when he started feeling happy and escaped his solitude, THIS happened.

It was as if life saw that he was happy and decided to ruin it for him.

He could also see that her departure was more than obvious and had a huge effect on the pack.

The place was just so QUIET and boring without her here.

The place seemed colder and darker than even before she first came here.

Now it lacked her loud voice, her beautiful singing, her motherly touch, her playful brother-sister like bickering between her, Mark and especially Tommy and her ability to brighten up the mood.

There was a knock on his office door.

"Come in" he called.

It was Charles.

"Hello uncle" Jace said

"Son, how are you?"

"I'm fine uncle"

"Don't you think that it's rude to lie to your uncle? I know you are not fine, son. Did you call her?"

Jace sighed and said,

"Yes, i call like 10 times at least everyday but she never answers the damn phone. She doesn't even answer Tauriel, Sarah or Kiera's phone calls. I just don't know what to do"

"Maybe she needs some time to figure things out and calm herself. But Jace, we have very little time. We need to know the book's hiding place and most importantly, Damon's fortress's location. We have to destroy them Jace. We have to kill them all and soon. They are constantly attacking civilian packs and terrorizing them. They need to be killed and as far as i know, only Lionesse knows the place. We need to make her tell us. We need to let her open up. You are her mate, she will listen to you"

Jace laughed,

"Lionesse listens to nobody. She sure as hell won't listen to a male. That much i have realized from what her friends told me about her."
