Chapter Two: Mother's decision

Laying in the roses is so relaxing to me, just being free from the hell I've been through. It's amazing... Until I heard one voice...

" What the fuck are you doing out here!? " I looked up to see my mother with my father right behind her. I shake in pure terror as my father starts speaking to her. " Fuck off. I brought her out here, she needs a break from you Rebecca. She's our daughter, not your victim. " I was shocked to hear such a word come out of my father's mouth as I watched them and my mother grabbed my arm. " Listen, Stephen, I'm doing this for our own good. One less daughter means one less of everything. I mean well by what I'm doing " I feel all the rage and hatred I've been feeling all these years pile up and I start to yell at her. " Listen, I'm not your playtoy anymore! I'm normal and special, and I'm tired of being downgraded by you! I hate you and I always will! Go fucking die! " I get up and pull away from her while walking to my father. " I like your sudden boost of confidence my daughter " I feel him kiss my forehead and I smile softly. " Fine, but this is my final decision for her. She gets an arranged marriage and I'll stop my torture, or I'll keep her and you keep out of it Stephen" I was in pure shock as I looked. An arranged marriage? That's terrible! " I don't want to get married! I've never even been outside, let's see what love is. " My father touched my head and I slowly calmed down. " Well, then this is all settled. The marriage it is, there's no other way. " I started to tear up and look at my father in pure sadness, my mother has verbally abused him... I feel pity towards my whole family because they've dealt with her but, I got the worst of it. I just couldn't and walked away from them, finding my twin brother. " Endymion." He looked at me with pure shock in his eyes as I hugged him. " What are you doing out? Mom is gonna kill you. " I looked at him and shook my head no. " She's not gonna do anything to me because dad let me out. She forced an agreement with him to give me an arranged marriage. " I sat down in his room and pouted. " Oh wow, that's just awful but at least you're out. " I nodded because I knew he was right, but I still wanted to be my own person and I felt like I wasn't there just yet, it only had begun. " So are you just going to go through with it? " I didn't respond to him because I had gotten lost in my thoughts. " No, I'll find a way out of it. It shouldn't be that hard to do right? " He laughs a bit and hugs me. " My simple-minded, innocent twin sister. " I looked at him, flicking his nose. " I'm not innocent at all. " He started laughing at me. " You're innocent because you are still a virgin. " I blushed and hit him while he still laughing. " It's not that! You're dirty! " I pouted while leaving his room to find my sister. " Serenity? " She looked at me with pure joy and smiled. " Scarlet! " I fell to the ground as she tackles and hugged me and I laughed. " Wow, I missed you too... Ow." She got up and helped me while smiling. " She let you out! " She picked me up and held me like a baby. "Stop it I'm not a small child. " She put me down. " You're my small child, my little sister. " I started laughing, my siblings are like my best friends, but Serenity is the number one person I trust for anything. We talked for hours and I finally got a good answer from her. " The only way you can control your future is by showing them you can, simple actions can change your fate. " I smiled and nodded. I will now use that with everything in my life... It's mine after all...
