Chapter 24
*Trouble *

Mark glanced around the partially empty -and very welcoming- Cafe. He and Jackson had agreed on this place to meet, and quote on quote "get to know each other more". Yes, he was well aware that it sounded like those weird yet familiar k-drama moments but it really was not, or the very least he hoped not. His nose tingled slightly as he picked up the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and bread.

He hated to admit it, but the mare thought of hearing the very expected male enter through those doors made his heart want to jump and hide. Thankfully, the calming environment he was in helped greatly to calm his raising nerves. Although he could not help but fidget slightly with his cold hands.

"Would you like to take your order now, sir? Or are you waiting for someone?" The waiter asked with a bright smile on his face. It should really be illegal to have such huge smile on one's face. It was creeping the older out slightly but he shrugged it off and paid no more attention to it. Teenagers were really weird nowadays.

"I'm actually waiting for someone, sorry." He said, and the younger male immediately went over to look over another table. His life  must really be depending on this job for him to try and be so overwhelming positive, Mark thought as he looked over his shoulder at the ' 'cheerful' waiter.

The older male became too distracted on his phone to even notice whom had walked in. "Hello!"Jackson said as he threw his small  bag on the chair, in the opposite side of Mark.

"Oh,hi. I was worried you wouldn't make it." Mark said putting his phone done, making sure it was on mute, not wanting to seem rude. Even though he had really been emerged on the drama between James Charles and Tati. He didn't even fully know whom they were, apart that they both made beauty/make-up video, but the tea was boiling. Not that was the most important matter at the moment though-

The older closely examined the other, who appeared slightly agitated and tired, and a layer of sweat had formed on his forehead. That made him wonder what had happened along the way to the cafe but he chose not to question it any further.

"I'm terribly sorry I'm this late! My car has been acting very weird lately and it ended up stopping me various times along the way here. Can't believe I am late to our first date, I'm sorry to disappoint." Jackson said with a serious expression, making Mark choke on his saliva quite a lot.

"D..date?!"he questioned quite alarmed, and still recovering from the intense coughing just a few seconds ago. "Oh my god, I'm joking! No need to die over it,hyung." Jackson laughed softly as he watched a small frown form on Mark's face, as he wiped the tears left as the aftermath of the coughing.

"Who am I supposed to talk to if you die? Plus I cannot possibly afford your healthcare, so you better not."Jackson said, sounding just as serious as before earning a scoff and a soft smile from Mark. Talking to him here and now, felt so much different then when they had conversations while working at the Hotel. This felt a bit more awkward, but Jackson managed to break through the wall of ice after a while.

Mark almost had another coughing attack when the waiter popped out from behind him, with a loud,"are you guys ready to order?"

Well maybe that loud, but surely enough to scare the older off. "Ah~ yes, I will like the vegetable omelette, with the ice caramel latte, and a small order of pancakes." Jackson said closing gen menu to his side and handing it in to the waiter, who gladly took it.

"I'll have the same as him, just add toasts to it." Mark said, following Jackson's step and handing in the menu. He really felt pathetic, being too nervous to even know what to order. That's the word he was looking for to describe himself at the moment, pathetic.

'Jackson is just your coworker, and friend even perhaps. No need to over due the situation, and the way I'm acting towards another guy is completely unnecessary.'Mark thought to himself as he smiled and looked down , a bit embarrassed.

He was usually loser, and more of himself in other occasions, but he couldn't help but get the desire to be ....liked by Jackson? Less in a romantic way, and more in an acceptance kind of way. But again, he really had to fight the need.

The need to study closely and with malicious intent, Jackson's anatomy which was shown well under the clothes he was wearing. The way his muscles were being shown against the thin-oh so unfortunately thin- fabric of the dark blue silk shirt. The way the buttons on his shirt were done, just low enough to show how well sculpted Jackson's chest was, and how his skin was glowing with the bright sunlight coming from outside.

The way his shirt outlined every single detail on his over body, making the older's face feel like it was melting off against a pool of lava. Oh but wait- it got better. As Jackson kept blabbering about his day not really paying attention at the astonished and in awe glance Mark was giving him.

The older's perverted train of thought was interrupted by the waiter bringing the beverages they had ordered, and waited so patiently for.

Where was he? As Mark's lips gently touched the straw, his eyes kept moving upward, to study the alluring and visually pleasing features on the younger's face.

His jawline was well defined, indicating that the younger most likely exercised often. The two pair of eyelashes he owned, naturally, were oddly long for a male[no complaints were being made] , and were actually rather pretty.

As his eyes moved further south, he was caught off guard by what came next...

The older was greeted by a pair of lips that were luscious, and full.  Jackson twirled his tongue inside that alluring mouth, as he spoke extremely calmly without a care in the world, and it was truly a sight to see.

He delicately pressed  his tongue against those perfect lips, and the dampness that had been  created over them made Mark want to look the other way immediately but he just couldn't.

Suddenly he knew how finished he was when Jackson's lips stopped moving, and slowly starting forming a mischievous grin as he looked down at Mark's guilty expression. The older immediately glanced up trying to pretend he was just staring into space.

Jackson looked down at his drink, the smirk never leaving, and took a painfully long sip of his drink before getting back on track with his conversation, completely brushing over what he had just acknowledged.

A conversation from  which Mark had heard almost to nothing since he had been too distracted inside his own head. When he heard the slight sound of the plates gently hitting against the table, he realized to today was going to be a long -fucking- day, and it would be completely out of his control and will power.
