Chapter 2

Max's Point of View

The program lasted almost 2 hours. We are now headed to our homeroom classroom. Patuloy ang pagkalabit sakin nila julia at Liz. Kinukulit ako na kausapin ko daw loyd, kinukulit ko rin sila na wag nila akong itulak. Bwisit na nga ako dahil sa mata na nakatingin sakin, simula ng makita niya kong nakatingin sa kanya. The whole program ramdam ko ang titig niya.

Pano ba naman, sa tabi ko siya umupo kaya pano hindi ako makakaramdam sa presence niya. Tsaka naisip ko, bakit ako ang unang kakausap sa kanya. Una wala naman akong sasabihin. At pangalawa, siya mauna hindi ako dapat ang mauna.

We are seated in our respective seats, nagdidiscuss ng do's and don't homeroom teacher namin.

" Bat ba ayaw mo kausapin" bulong ni julia sa tenga ko

" Why should I? " sabi ko

" Ghorl, you heard the president of the school. Loyd is the grandson of the founder of this school"

" So..?" eh ano naman. Kung iniisip niya na special siya dahil siya o ang family niya may ari ng school. Well pare parehas kaming may pera. Kaya aanhin ko yun

" Means, auto pass na tayo. We can cut class na hindi iniisip grades natin Like we used to do. We can have some fun before college." that sounds very tempting. I remember nung first year highschool kami nun. We cut classes to have fun to our place. Pero dahil sa ginawa namin na yon. Halos muntikan na kami bumagsak at mag repeat ng year.

Another thing na magkakaparehas ang mga magulang namin ay. They don't care na anak ka nila, kung bagsak ka o pinabayaan mo ang pagaaral mo. You will repeat. They don't want intelligent be fake kaya. Kailangan namin magaral talaga.

" Let chris handle that she has matt, i'm not talking to him" Pride comes first pa rin.

After school, we decided to go the nearest cafe, kasama ang mga kaibigan ni matt. Matt introduces us to them the other two are named, Luke and Alex. Luke Santos, the funny guy napansin ko sa kanya he is the happy go lucky one in their group. He always has to say something. He is the one who always talk. Then Alex Si, the one who is close with Luke he has both the humor and the seriousness. When I say seriousness, tumatawa lang siya kapag si Luke ang nagsasalita o sumasabay ito sa biruan kapag si Luke ang nagsasalata

Then there is Loyd Dela Cruz, he is cold, emotionless and has a very dark eye gaze. He looks at me with a dark demeanor. Like I've done something to him na kingagalit niya. He looks like the leader of the group and I assume he and Matt are close.

As we enter the cafe, it is full of students from the school. I guess dito rin ang tamabayan ng lahat ng Student. There are seats waiting for us. Sakto for Eight people.

We don't, actually have a seating arrangement kung saan lang maupo ang lahat. Pero sa minamalas ka nga naman. Nasa tapat ko yung taong gusto yata maglagay ng butas sa mukha ko. Hindi ba siya nananawa ng tingnan ako.

" WOW, it looks like how we plan it" salita ni chris, she is looking at us with a shining bright star to her eyes.

" What do you mean?" julia ask while looking at the menu.

" Well, nung naging kami ni matt. We plan to make a quadruple date. Me and matt, Luke and Liz, Alex and Julia, Loyd and Max. Pero hindi pwede si max, because she attended her mother's fashion week anniversary" she said. Nagkatinginan si Liz at Julia. Nang marinig nila yon.

" Girl, wag ka malungkot dahil kahit isang couple may natupad naman." Liz says. Nagtaka naman si chris sa sinabi ni Liz

" Max, attended a blind date in paris" julia, pagkasabi niya na yon nagusap usap mga lalaki. Tapos naglabas ng cellphone si Luke.
