Leaving the cafeteria with all of the kids heading to our next class would be normal. But, that's before I see Maddie sucking off my ex's face. I run off away from everyone hearing my kids calling my name.
"Mommy!"
"Ally! Come back!" William yells
I know leaving William with all the kids is wrong of me, but I just couldn't get the image of Maddie with someone who was once so close to me. I end up bumping into someone.
"I'm sorry" I quickly say
"It's fine love, what wrong? Why are you crying?"
"It's nothing, I should get back to-"
"What? Get back to where? Where ever you are coming from has you crying? "
"My kids need me"
"Kids? Will I'd love to meet them" he says happily
"My boyfriend needs me too, I'm sorry " I reply slowly
"It's fine love, just know that Adam is always right here" he points to his heart
"Thank you" I give him a big smile and a huge hug
"Ally?"
I turn around and see William
"Will-"
"Save it, I see who you would rather be with, the kids are with Mrs donnel, I'll see you when I see you" he storms out of the school
"No, William, please I-"
He left, he is gone
"I'm so sorry Love" Adam starts to comfort me
"No, it's not your fault that he doesn't trust me"
"What about the kids?"
"I have to get them and go home early," I say determined
"I can help you, I have car seats in my car from when I took my nieces out last week" he offers
"That would be great, that you"
"I got your back love"

"This is mommies friend Adam"
"And does Adam have a last name?" Jon replies back like he is someone's father
"It's Johnson buddy" Adam jumps in to help
"You got that Mrs donnel,.... if we aren't here tomorrow, go searching for this man right here" he implies
"Jonathan Peterson!" I raise my voice
"Sorry mommy, I'm just looking out for the fam" oh my, no more hang out with jay or listening to Bazzi around him
"Okay, you are not allowed to hand out with Jay anymore "
"But why ma! I'm just saying" he tries to argue
"I apologize if I say anything I don't mean I'm just trying to live life put up for my family" Joe starts. Not him too!
"Joe, not you too"
"Mommy home!" AJ says pulling on my pants
"Yes AJ, we are leaving now, okay buddy?"
"Okay mommy"
