Catching up

Moon's POV

Since everyone couldn't fit into one table we all sat in two separate tables. Boys in one and girls in another. The food in Kalos was delicious, but nothing can beat Malasadas. "So." I said "Anything interesting happen while I was gone?" Everyone exploded with chatter as soon as I said that.
"We all got Z crystals!"
"Professor Kukui and Burnet are married!"
"We saw Sogaleo and Lunala!"
"Woah, guys, you don't have to tell me all at once! Oh, I almost forgot! I got you guys these cute charms that would totally suit your style." I hand each charm out to the girls and they all loved it. "Wow, I can't believe they even had charms of alolan pokemon" Lana said " I got them custom-made at a small shop there." I huffed proudly. They were kinda expensive but it was so worth it. "Moon who's that charm in the box for?" Oh Arceus, if they know who it's for they're gonna tease me for days on end! "Uhh no one important!" Just then I felt the gift get snatched away from my hand. I forgotten how sneaky Lana is! The girls started to gather around the box as Lana opened it. "Oh my, charms of Umbreon, Lycanroc, AND Sivally??? ~The only person who has all of those Pokémon is Gladion~" I quickly snatch it back from them. "H-Hey, I got gifts for everyone! Gladion is no different." Lillie started to smirk. "Oh really? One, you only got charms for the girls. Two, we only got one each.  And finally three, I've seen your wallpaper on your phone. That's a very cute picture of Gladion you got there." My face starts blushing like crazy. My wallpaper is a pic of Gladion dressed up in a sailor moon uniform from a dare. How did she know about my wallpaper?! I never told anyone my password!! Lillie starts to giggle."Don't worry, we won't tell him, and I give you my consent to date him. ;)" The girls start to giggle along with Lillie. Me and Gladion are just friends, right? "W-We're just friends, guys!" They all smirk at the same time.
"Sure..."
"Friends..."
These guys sure love teasing me, don't they. I sigh. But it's nice to see familiar faces after what happened in Kalos.

Hau's POV:

Malasadas are the best!!! Nothing can beat it! Everyone at the table was looking at me shocked. I've only ate like 30 something of them, which even isn't close to my personal record. Finally Ash says something"Hau are you okay?" I nearly choke on my malasada "What? Why would you ask that?" Then Sophocles butts in. "HOW HAVE YOU BEEN EATING ALL THOSE MALASADAS ACCORDING TO MY DATA ITS SCIENTIFICALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!"
"Well, me and my dad have had malasada eating competitions ever since I was 5 and I really wanted to beat him since he always won but 2 years ago I finally did! But that was the day when we were going on a trip away from Alola, and I haven't been able to beat him since." When I finished telling the story I asked them what I've wanted to know for a long time
"So, uh, how's Lillie?" Kiawe and Sophocles groan. "The first thing you ask us is how Lillie has been? Why don't you ask her yourself?" I started to sweat a little.
"Well, uh, I think I'd be weird if I ask her, you know?"  Kiawe gives me a blank stare.
"Hau, you've been friends with Lillie since you were kids, why are you not talking to her anymore? Did something happen on your trip?"
"No!!! I just, stutter and blush when I talk to her or even think about her, I don't even know why." I wish we were kids again. I never had problems speaking to Lillie before, why now?

When we walked out Hau  still didn't try to talk to Lillie. I hope they talk to each other soon, they're childhood friends after all. Suddenly, we hear voices behind us. "Well, well, Look what we got here!"
"Gives us all your Pokémon or you'll have to battle us, yo!"
"Yeah that's right!"
Those people sound familiar, wait a minute, is that... "It's team skull!" Says Ash. "Go Pikac-"
I raise my hand up to stop Ash. "Hang on, I got this." As I walk towards Them they finally recognized me. "W-Wait, is that Moon?!"
"W-Whatever! We can still take her on!"
"Go, Salandit!"
"Go, Zubat!"
"Go, Garbodor!"
Suddenly I see a dark figure come from a nearby alleyway. The grunts haven't seen him yet.
"You sure about that?"
"(N-NANI?!) Huh?! Gladion?! C-Come on guys let's scram!" And just like that they were gone. Gladion starts walking towards us with an angrier than usual look. Uh oh.
"Wow, first day back and you're already getting into trouble, aren't you ever gonna learn? But still..."He smiles. "I'm glad you're b-ACK!" I crush him with a hug (it was super effective) "Oh god, I thought you were mad at me for sec! It's really good to see you after getting back from Kalos!"
"Y-yeah. You. Too. Moon. Please. Let. Go. Can't. Breathe." Then he passed out on me.
"Should we take him to the Pokémon center?" Ash questions. "No, he's gonna be fine, he'll wake up, hopefully..."
