A sorry before hand if its really long.

I awoke to the first ray of sunshine hitting my face. I silently stood and pulled on my shoes. I made sure my mask was on before peeking out the door. After I made sure it was clear I climbed down the ladder. I jumped the last few rings and landed. 'Today's the day, Im going to break the rules.'
I looked around before I darted into the forest and down a old deer path. As I approached the edge of the forest, I heard a rustling noise. Someone dropped down out of the trees and landed in front of me. I froze, before noticing it was Len. I smiled beneath my mask. “Where do you think your going?”
He pushed his mask up and I did the same. “I want to check out the human village.” He walked up to me. “You know Elder doesn't want you to go for your a ra-.” I scowled making him stop. “I know what I am but you get to be free. I have to stay cooped up inside all day, not allowed to do anything. Because of what I am. It’s not fair.”
He sighed. “I know you don’t like it but Elder does it for your own good. She’s worried about you.” I stared into his blue eyes. He rubbed his head, “Fine, but if you got caught. I haven’t seen you at all.” I grinned and hug him. “You're the best Len.” He pulled his mask down covering a blush as I ran by.
He was the only one who broke the rules for me. I walked out of the forest doing a simple spell to change my ears before I walked into the town. I looked around at the sites with wonder. I approached a stand of fruit and gazed at the apples.
”Would you like to buy one, young lady.” I looked up at the shop’s owner. I started nodding but stopped. “Sorry I have no money, I would If I could.” He patted my head and then leaned down. “Take one but don’t tell.” My eyes lit up as he winked.
I thanked him and walked off. I walked into an alley and sat on a old crate. I finished the apple and tossed the core into the nearby trash can. I stood and walked along the alley wall, when I heard a soft meow.
I turned the corner to see a cat, by a door. I approached and held out my hand. The cat approached me and sniffed my hand, before allowing me to pet her. I smiled to myself as the doorknob turned.
My head shot up and I dived behind some nearby boxes. I peeked out, not noticing my mask sliding down. A guy with a cat on his shoulder appeared.Three other with him, he kneeled and petted the cat. “Don’t tell me you brought your army with you today.” The man stood holding the cat. “Everyone knows my cats aren’t the Greek army.”
One of the three men around him was wearing a green uniform and his blonde hair was sleeked back. The other two were about the same but had different color uniforms and hair. One was white and the other blue, while their hair was black and brown.
The one in blue looked super happy. “But there are more cats than your army.” The blonde man turned to the brown one. “Italy don’t say those things, you’ll upset Greece.” I stifled a laugh as I watched them. I covered my mouth and lowered my head. 'A motion that changed my life forever.'
My mask fell and slid toward the men. They watched it as it slid to a stop inched away from them. The one called Italy walked over and picked it up. I instantly ran out and ran at him. “Don’t touch it.” The man fell back and hid behind the blonde one, and started waving a white flag. 'From where I do not know to this day.'
“Ahhhh, I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Please don’t hurt me I have relatives in your country. Im a virgin no one wants to kill a virgin, right? Germany, Germany, save me.” I stopped and stared at the man. Out of nowhere I was picked up and raised in the air like I weighed nothing.
