Madness was known for keeping secrets if she needed to, and multitasking. Mad had to use both of those skills this Mother's Day. You see, Mad's mothers, Toca and Galactic, both had surprises for each other with Mad's help. Toca planned on taking the family out for a Mother's Day dinner (Mad's job being distracting Mom, of course) and Galactic was going to bake a cake for Toca with Mad's help. What both didn't know was that Mad had something planned for both of them.

Mad had made a big family portrait for her family with her, her Moms, Moon, Rico, El, and Natika, who was away in Japan but was visiting back home for events like Mother's day. Mad had made it big and detailed with lines and colours and shading and was keeping it hidden in a large yellow envelope in the back of her and her shared room with Moon.

Mother's Day rolls around and Mad and Rico are helping Galactic out with baking a cake. Mad checks her watch and sees it's 1:20 pm, and it's time for her to go help out Toca and Moon with their surprise.

"Hey, Mom, can I go ride down to Sweetie's house really quick? I wanna help her with making her Mom a card with lots of glitter on it!" Mad asks excited and Galactic chuckles "Alright, but be back before your Mother gets home, I don't want you to be late to surprise her!" Galactic says and leans down and gives Mad's nose a little boop, which makes her laugh, and kissed her on the forehead. "Thanks, Mom!" Mad said and grabbed her helmet from the front door and ran out, hearing her Mom telling her to stay safe on her way out.

Mad rode down the street, pass Sweetie's house, who she'd already helped out at this point. Mad was riding up to her Aunt Darla's house, who she always calls Aunt Darcy because as a kid she had trouble with her L's so she skipped over them, giving her aunt the name Auntie Darcy.

Mad parked her bike and walked into Aunt Darcy's house, where she saw Toca and said "Hi, Mother!". Toca turned around and looked at her oldest daughter and smiled brightly, "Hi, Madness!" she said and gave her a quick hug.

"Where's Moon?" Mad asked and Toca replied "She's in Aunt Darla's room, Aunt Darla's getting her ready with a bit of light make up because she asked nicely.". Mad snorted a bit and said "We aren't going anywhere fancy!".

"Well, if Moon wants a little bit of make up, she can have that. It isn't going to be painfully noticable, I promise." Toca said and then Moon and Darla came out, Moon having on just a little bit of lip gloss and a light amount of a skin tone blush. Moon ran over to Toca, beaming. "Hey, Mother, how do I look??? Don't I look beautiful?????" Moon asked and Toca chuckled "Yes, you do, Moon. Now, c'mon, we gotta get to the house." Toca says.

Toca drove Mad and Moon back to the house, picking up El from his friend's house on the way there, and when they got home, Mad went inside first to tell Galactic that Toca was home.

"Just in time", Galactic said, "Me and Rico just finished frosting the cake!". Mad looked over and the cake, which looked VERY chocolatey. Madness looked over to her brother, who looked shy but proud about his work. Mad smiled and said "Nice job, Rico!". "T-Thanks..." Rico replied. Rico had always been shy, but he was starting to talk more and more.

Toca walked in with Moon and El, calling out that she was home. Galactic, taking off the apron she was wearing and keeping it clutched in her hand, ran over to Toca and gave her a peck on the cheek. "Hi, Mom!" Moon said "Don't I look pretty??". Galactic smiled, noticing her slight make up. "You do, honey! But, why exactly are you wearing all that?" Galactic asked and Toca smiled, "Because, for the best Mom in the world, we're going out to eat at the Bonefish grill!" Toca said and Galactic couldn't contain the huge smile on her face. Mad couldn't either, despite already knowing the plan. Mad just really loves seafood and nearly exploded when Toca told Mad the first time.

"Well, after dinner, I know what we can have for dessert!" Galactic said and lead Toca over to the cake, which was sitting on the Dining room table. "A cake baked for the best Mother in the world!" Galactic said cheerfully and Toca held Gal's hand. "I really do have the best family ever, huh?" Toca said and Galactic giggled.

Madness cleared her throat and got her family's attention. "Mom, Mother, I h-have a surprise for both of you! Stay right here!" Mad said and they both nodded. Mad ran to her room and quickly grabbed the yellow envelope from the back of the closet. Mad zoomed back into the living room and handed her Mom's the envelope.

"H-Here!" Mad said, trying to silently catch her breath from running up and down the stairs so quickly. Toca opened up the envelope, her and Galactic both looking at it for a moment. Soon, both of their expressions melted.

"Aww, Mad, sweetheart, we love it!" Galactic said, Toca leaning over and hugging Madness.

"Here, I know what to do with it!" Toca said, grabbing the paper and putting it on the fridge, pushing a few A+ tests aside for room while still giving them the attention they deserve. "We can keep it there until we can get it framed!" Toca said.

"Get it... Framed???" Madness thought to herself.

The whole family went out to dinner (including Natika, who was picked up from the Airport), eating and chatting, and even when they got home and ate the cake Mad, Rico, and Galactic had worked on while watching a movie together, Mad couldn't stop smiling at the idea of framing up her drawing.
