Don't Go Home

Ashley's POV

"Mitch it's 6pm I should get home." I say standing up."Ashley I don't want you to go back there." Mitch says grabbing my hand."Where would I stay?" I ask sitting back down."You could stay here." he says."Would your parents be ok with it?" I ask."I'll go ask my mom." he says.

Mitch's POV

"Mom" I say "Yes Mitchell." she says."Since Ashley's dad hit her I was wondering if she could stay her. I just don't want her to go back to him." I say."She can stay on the couch." she says."Thank you." I say. I walk upstairs to tell Ashley "Ashley my mom said you could stay on the couch." I say."Thank you." she says hugging me."Wanna watch a movie?" I ask."Sure" she says "How about The Conjuring?" I ask."Sounds good." she says. I put in the movie and about half way through Ashley buries her head into my chest."Why do you have to he so cute." I say pulling her closer."Mitch I'm tired." she complains."Then go downstairs." I say "I'm to comfortable." she says."Well you could fall asleep here and then I'll carry you downstairs." I say."Ok" she says closing her eyes. About 30 minutes later I'm sure she's asleep so I pick her up and take her downstairs and place her on the couch. She shivers after I put her down so I pull the blanket over her."Goodnight Ashley." I whisper giving her a kiss on the forehead. I fall asleep but I wake up about 1 hour later and go downstairs for some water. When I get downstairs I see Ashley breathing heavily and crying. I pick her up bridal style and she buries her head into my chest crying."Shhh it's ok." I say rubbing her back. I take her upstairs and lay down still holding her "It's ok Ashley I'm here for you." I say as she stops crying and buries her head into my chest. I pull the blanket over us and fall asleep.

(Morning)

Ashley's POV

I wake up and bury my head into my pillow but then I realize I'm with Mitch."Morning" he says "Mitch how did I get up here?" I ask confused."I went downstairs and you were breathing heavily and crying so I picked you up and tried to calm you down then I brought you up here." he says."Thank you Mitch." I say."I love you Ashley." he says "I love you to Mitch." I say kissing him.
