Drowning in Her Thoughts

She was drowning in her thoughts

Thoughts no one else would think

Her thoughts brung her tears

She believed she was nothing but a sin

To her, the end was near

Because every thought she had, brought her closer to caving in

She was slowly giving up

Screaming for help

But nobody could hear

She drew across her skin,

Drew on herself with shears

As the tears rolled down her chin

She cried herself to sleep,

Wanting to be understood

Loneliness was her biggest fear

Being lonesome made her head spin

She couldn't bare to look in the mirror

Couldn't Manage to grin,

She was drowning in her thoughts,

Thoughts no one else would think
