Rain washed the crimson red substance away from the pavement, blood had been spilt and had made quite the mess in the dark alleyway. She walked over the mutilated corpse and disappeared into the cold night.
She knew what she had done, she knew it every time she took a life and left a gruesome sight as the confirmation for her acts. She only felt pain, pain for the life she never had and for life, she was given. Born to kill, born to annihilate, born to die before the hands of her creator.
Power coursed through her veins, a power she had developed a vast hatred towards. Her whole life was embodied by death, everywhere she went death would lurk in the shadows. Her mother was killed after she gave birth to her, she wasn't allowed to feel motherly love or love of any kind – death was in her blood.
She returned to the base, her home, where she rested her broken mind and bruised body. He stood outside her cell as always, waiting for a mission report and a way to quench the thirst for blood that ate him up on the inside. He lived his dark blood-filled fantasies through her and she knew that one day he would wield the fatal blade himself and thank her for her service by slaughtering her like the dangerous animal she was.
"Dr. Hydecker?" his voice hoarse and deep.
"Deceased" her empty emerald eyes met his cold carob ones.
"Did you get the information we need to access the grounds?" he put his hand on her back and let her inside her cell.
"Yes, father" her voice echoed off the empty walls.
He nodded and walked out of the cell, slamming the door shut and locking her in with the booming new feeling of guilt that had entered her system.
One last mission, then she would finally be relieved of her duty.
