Maleyah POV
My parents were right in front of me and I couldn't believe it. All of a sudden I woke up, laying in my room. Was this all a dream. I thought to myself.
I had a major headache when I woke up. Everything just felt so surreal. I really wanted to see my parents.
I just wanted to talk to Kai right now. Instantly I went to the ft icon and called Kai. He answered on the second ring.
"Wassup" Kai said. "Can you come over."
He said bet and he was on his way. I just laid in my bed looking a mess. My hair was all over the place and my mascara was was running.
All of a sudden, my door opened and in came Kai. "What were you down the street?" I asked K.
He didn't say anything and just wrapped me in his arms. I couldn't help but breakdown in front of him. I was starting to have have a headache and my eyes seemed to get low.
Kai POV
Maleyah was just laying in my arms asleep. She looked so peaceful while she sleeps. Couldn't even imagine what my baby was going through.
She really was having a tuff ass day. Ima have to take her out one of these days, just to cheer her up.
2 hours later (Read it like on Spongebob)
Leyah was just now waking up. I'm not gone lie she looked like a mess but she was also fine. "You feel better now?"
"Not really, I got big ass headache," Leyah said while holding her head. I went to her medicine cabinet and got her some Advil.
"Thank you," Leyah mumbled while taking her pills. Ion know about y'all but she crazy asf for swallowing them pills without water. Her throat bout to burn bad asf.
I was playing with her hair as she laid in bed. We were just in a comfortable silence. Just laying there gave me an idea.
"Baby, I need you to get up and get dressed for me." "I don't wanna leave this house." "Yo you need to get up. She groaned but eventually got up. Le came back out with some sweats on and a hoodie.
We casually walked down stairs and got in the car. I got in and started playing NBA Youngboy (Free that nigga) lowly.
Leyah just rested her head on the window and didn't say anything. Eventually I pulled to Baskin Robins. I just had to get my baby out the house. I'm not good with dealing with emotional people.
I ordered Cookies and Cream fo Le and decided I'm just gone eat off hers. She never finish her ice cream so ima just help her this time.
I walked up to the table just smiling hella hard at her. "What nigga?" She asked rolling her eyes at me. "You know a real nigga had to get his baby her favorite ice cream."
"Whatever." "I can take it back if you want me to," yeaaaa that got her to be quiet. She just took the ice cream and started to eat it. I'm just tryna make sure she in a better mood.
Leyah POV Part#2
I just sat quietly eating the ice cream. All Kai did was stare at me. I'm glad to have him in my life because I'm starting to feel better already. I didn't want to leave the house at first but now I'm seeing that I made the right choice.
We sat and talked for a while and I finally stopped thinking about my parents. For once they weren't the only thing on my mind.
After while we went to the movies and just sat in the theatre watching Aladdin. This was my mom's favorite movie to watch. Sitting here mad me think of her all over again. After while I started to drift off to sleep again.
But you sleep a lot when your depressed. No one really knows that about me. The death of my parents really took a toll on me. I've been getting better over the years but I still have to take my pills.
Heyyyyy Guyssss!!! I'm back.
I don't even know why I haven't been writing but I need to get better at this.
Give me some ideas for the next few chapters so I can make this book interesting.
