Alright guys, so you'll see that I was in mid-production of this chapter when I stopped so the beginning part is what you would've seen when it was originally going to be released

I'll release one draft everyday until I get to the end. I will try to provide some backstory for what I was planning on doing with the chapter.

One month later.

"Hey! You're starting to get better Lou!" Clementine exclaims sitting beside the dread haired boy. "Thanks Clem...really, thank you." Louis says in a low tone. He stares at the ivories in front of him.

Clem has been helping Louis train himself, so he can regain his pianist abilities. Although he still makes mistakes that he didn't make before the accident, he has shown improvement and Clementine is determined to fulfill her promise to help him play like his old self again.

She studies his affectionate face as he looks towards his wooden friend. "I told you I'd help you play again Lou...and that's what I'm going to do." She says. Louis smiles to himself. He then looks into Clementine's hallucinative eyes. "There is something I'd like to sing to you." He states as he looks to her hands. Her brow furrows. "Sing what?" She probes in curiosity. He looks back up to her. "A song that I've been writing...for you." Her mouth opens ajar. "Well." He laughs to himself. "It's not entirely my song, it's more of my lyrics on top of an already famous song." His voice then turns to his adored bouncy self. "But it's about you so it's special." She motions to his hands. "Well play it you big dummy." She playfully laughs to him. He giggles with her. "Even when you insult me, it still makes me feel special." He tells her. He takes a big breath. Don't fuck this up Louis he tells himself. He tests his fingers opening and closing them and places them on the ivories. He begins the melody. Clementine listens to every minute detail, it's a slow tune and very familiar to the girl. Louis concentrates on his fingers and begins to sing.

In a small school in the mountains just trying to survive
Lies a fighter a survivor and her name is Clementine
The girl smiles to herself.
Oh my darlin
Oh my darlin
Oh my darlin Clementine
He gazes at the girl witnessing her red face which makes him smile as he continues his slow methodical rhythm.
Your beauty cascades beyond the rivers
And over-top the rapid's tides
He concentrates back on his fingers.
Oh so scary, but oh so gentle, thought her hair was curly brown
Wearing a D ontop her hat, scissors were for Clementine
Clem scoots closer to Louis studying his fingers as they glide around the instrument.
Oh my darlin
Oh my darlin
Oh my darlin Clementine
Fiery eyes, the color of embers
But the soul of a gentle bride
Drove the raiders beyond the waters, every man, woman, and child
Rejoiced to the salvage of my darlin, the victor Clementine
How I love her
How I love her
How I love my Clementine
You're one of a kind, I can't deny
Because your my Clementine
He falls silent mulling to himself if he should finish the last part. "Louis?" Clementine asks witnessing his stoic face. Louis puffs and finishes the song. This part of the song is different from the rest. He adds his own little melody to go with it. The change of pace gains Clementine's attention.
I betrayed her
I betrayed her
I betrayed my Clementine
Tried to throw her into the forest
And it nearly took her precious life
Louis' face grows long as his past guilt begins to fill inside of him.
Ol' so sorry
Ol' so sorry
Ol' so sorry Clementine
I really love you for that I'm sorry
I love you Clementine

Louis dangles his head as the last note lingers in the room. "I was never mad for what you did that day...you know that right?" Clementine gazes to the boy's downcast face. "I'll never forgive myself for it." He tells her in a low tone as he stares at the floorboard. "Could you please look at me?" Clementine asks of the boy. He turns to her with sorrow in his eyes. "I almost killed you and AJ...and for what...because I believed I had to stay loyal to someone who would have sold me off?" He shakes his head. "I really don't want to think what my life would be like without you Clementine...it scares me if I'm being honest." Her eyes squint. "Have you been having nightmares about me again?" She asks him seriously. His chest deflates as he exhales. "Yeah." He answers defeated. "I've been having them with you and AJ also." She admits to him. "That's just what happens when you care about people...especially when they're always in danger." She tells him. "It's stressful...but—it makes me really appreciate every second I get with you two." Clem says.
