Ella couldn't bare to look at me. I knew she was outraged—but this mad? Seriously? What else could I do...I tried to protect her. But whatever...what a stubborn ass.
"Babe," I repeated,"Babe, we gotta talk,"
Nothing. Not even a nod. "Ella, please, it's about the new victim," she looked at the T.V. and turned it on.
"Ella," I sighed,"Please... we need to talk," She changed the T.V channel, moving a bit in the bed so the blankets would be around her. I climbed up on the bed,"Ella, stop ignoring me,"
"What Anson? Can't you see I'm trying to watch T.V here?" She scoffed, whipping her head to face me and then back to the T.V.
"I want to talk to you about some things," I slowly leaned over to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. Ella inhaled sharply.
"Like..." She trailed off. I reached over her to grab the remote, which she yanked away from me.
"Your medicine," I started,"Our next fugitive, Our son," I strained struggling to see Brand as anything but her's and also a nuisance
"My medicine is fine. I don't need a new refill. William hasn't said anything about the victim yet and Brandy is taking a nap, or he's watching another movie with Leanne," she looked at the T.V as she spoke.
"Ella, don't you lie to me," I spoke sternly. Why would she lie to me...out of all people.
Ella laughed, "Lie? I'm not lying to you about anything," she scoffed and sat up a little to get comfortable.
"Then why did William tell me that you're not taking your medicine anymore? Why aren't you looking after yourself?" I asked, I sat up a bit as I yanked the remote from her hand and paused the show.
"What are you talking about Babe? I'm taking it! I know the rules when it comes to it!"
"Rules? Are you serious, you're going to drag in the rules now? You keep shutting the bathroom door. You're not taking your medicine. You're not doing your job right! What else do I need to explain to show you you're doing everything wrong?!" I yelled.
