Chapter Twenty Two: Camp, Kris's Past (2)

"So it's Xiumin's team won the game for today!! So we added 10 marks for them and also for Yixing's team!!" the principal said. "Okay boys and girls!! You can rest now and tonight we going to have barbecue so Kris's team will do the job. Have fun!!" Suho said. "Urgh!! We almost won!!" Tao said and he surrendered his hand. All of the student do their own routine.

[Sena's POV]

It's already at night. I walked around because I've done with my routine. I'm bored actually so I decided went to Kris's team. They told their team to do our dinner for their punishment. "Mei mei!!" Tao waved at me. I waved back to him. He was chopping the meat to divided for us while his teammates grilling the meats. "Where's Kris?" I asked Tao. "Oh, he was here just now. I think he took something in the kitchen." he said. "I just go and check him out." He nodded. Yeap. The school provided us kitchen to put our ingridents. I came in the kitchen and looking for that tall guy. 

Then I saw him he was lanning on the counter. He looked through his phone. Suddenly tears started to fall from his eyes. OMO~ That was the first time I saw Kris crying. "Oppa~" I spoke  out. He was shocked and he turned around. I knew he was wiping his tears. He turned back to me. "Oh, it's you Sena. I though there is some random girl who came to me." I walked to him. "You okay?" I looked at him. "I'm fine." I saw he force his smiled. "Stop lying." I pouted. "You saw it?" I nodded. He sighed. "Can I pass this one? I need to get ready the food." he put his arm around my shoulder. "I'll help you guys then." he smiled. This time it's sincerly.

We both walked out together. I'm still curious why he cried but I won't forced him to tell me. Maybe it's a bad memories of him. "Don't do that face." he pinched my nose. "Do face like what?" I rubbed my nose. "It's obvious. Come on. I'll tell you later okay?" Was it obvious that I'm curious? "You know you don't have to-" "Force myself to tell you. Nahh~ I'm willing to tell you." he cutted off my word. Wow~ he does know what was in my mind right now.

"Oh hyung!!" one of his teammates called Kris. He looked at me because Kris put his arm around my shoulder. "Am I bothering you both?" he said. "Of course not. Why would you said that?" I asked him. "Nothing. I thought you guys were dating." he said. We looked each other and he smiled in grinned. "Are we look good together?" he said coldly. This guy loved to test people. "Well I- Err - I mean- You guys." Okay. He sounded liked scared. "FYI, we both not together." I said and I tapped that boy arm. He sign in relieved.

I dragged Kris away before he protested his word again. "You're so cold oppa." I said to him. He smirked. "That's why people called Ice Prince." I laughed at him "I though you're a galaxy." He smiled widely with his gummy smiled. "That's because I want to go there." I rolled my eyes and tipped toe to ruffled his hair. "Silly oppa." He pinched my cheek. I groaned in pained and rubbed it. He laughed hardly and I punched him on his arm. "There you are both of you. Come on. Bring the desert here." Tao said and he grabbed the desert from Kris hand.

Around 15 minutes, the other groups came. One by one the students grabbed their plates while the food were served. I just helped them with the plates, drinks etc. I'm not allowed to helped the other team. So I just helped the drinks anyway. The teacher gave the permission. Xiumin team, that is my team too came. "Hey Sena. Great shot just now. Sorry that I disappointed you before." the guy said that we going to lose. But I make my team won. "That's okay Jungmin. You just need the confident." I assured him. "I'll take your advised wisely." he said and he grabbed the plate to eat. "Enjoy your dinner."I said. "Wahh~ Smells good." Minyoung came to me. "Yeap. Kris's team has a great work." She nodded and grabbed the plate. Sehun oppa came together with Kai, D.O and Lay. They all said hi to me. They were also hungry. "Aren't you going to eat?" I looked back. "Later." It was Kris. I gave him the plate. "You should eat gege." He nodded and hand me another plate. "You too mei mei." I smiled at him. Since all of them already eat, it's our turn.

I grabbed a few dishes since I'm not that hungry. We both together sat under a tree. It's a bit far from the other groups. Just both of us. "Do you want to know why I cried?" Kris asked. I looked at him and his eyes was above the sky. He wasn't really eating. "You remind me of someone." he continued. "Oppa." "Please let me continue." he said. I just nodded. "Her name is Choi Yeori, It was my last day before my graduation. I confessed to her that I loved her. I wanted her to be in my life." His tears started to fall down on his cheek. "But I couldn't make it. She was force to moved back to Canada. Without a word she left me." I tapped on his back to comfort him. "I'm sorry oppa." "She was my best friend and best enemy. We both fought but we can do just what friends do. She really cared about me." he said. "Did you still contact her?" He shook his head. "She just left me here. I just has this picture."  he showed me the picture. Wow~ she sure are pretty girl. "She's a half Candian." he said. He only had one picture of her. I really pity Kris. "You know you will found her someday." I said. "I'll already try to do that for 3 years. I won't give up on her" I hugged him tightly. "You will oppa. Have faith on it." He hugged back and I heard him sniffing. I pulled back. He wiped his remain tears. "I'm such a baby. It's the first I cried in front of a girl." he said. I ruffled his brown hair. "Silly oppa." We both laughed. "Come on now. I bet they all searching for us." he said and he stood up. I stood up while he pulled my hand. "Sena-ah?" he called me. "Hmm?" I turned to him. "Keep this secret. No one knows about this." Kris said. "No problem. Your secret is save with me." He smiled and pinched my cheek. He put his arm around my shoulder. I really hope he will be happy of how he is now.

So, Kris do have a past that he won't forget.
