-Niall's P.O.V-

We ate our breakfast in silence. I didn't know what to talk about with her. Crap, my legs were shaking underneath the table. Each time I lifted my eyes to look at her, I court her staring at me. I know I probably sound so girly right now but when I look into her eyes, I feel butterflies on my stomach. I have to say something

"So...er... um... how did you sleep last night?" Genius Niall, you're an absolutely genius.

"I slept well, your couch is really comfortable you know?" she gave me a smile.

"Yeah, that's why I bought it in the first place."

She only nodded her head in agreement. Taking her cup of tea in her hands, she took a sip. I slapped myself in the inside. Thanks for making things awkward Niall.

"Look Summer...I own you an apology. I shouldn't have treated you like that yesterday night... I-" looking down at my hands I started to pick my nails. I always do those things when I'm nervous or I sometimes chew on the skin on my fingers. "I'm sorry" I said finally looking at her eyes.

"It's ok Niall. I understand you wanted to be alone after what happened. But you really hurt my feelings, I only wanted to help"

"I know, I know! I-I just didn't know what to do. I was stressed with all the drama we had last night, and you... your family must of being worried sick." Her smile turned into a frown.

"You didn't have to worry about me. I told my mom the whole situation, and I told her that I was staying the night here. She understood," summer responded. I sighed, slowly crossing my arms and lean back on the chair.

"Ok, but explain me something will ya?" Niall asked crossing his arms.

She nodded in agreement and leaned forward, placing her elbows on the table while she drank her orange juice. "Shoot"

"What?!" I said in confusion. "What are you talking about; you want me to shoot you?" I was taken back. This means... she knows about the gun... she saw it. Oh god I messed things up again.

"Not you silly. That means go on, tell me." She nearly spilled her orange juice by laughing too hard. I joined laughing my head off. We're back into the safe zone. False alarm, my fault.

"Ok so I was kind of wondering... why did you... stayed when I clearly said to go home?" she took a deep breath and exhale. Putting her glass down and fixing her loose string of hair, she spoke.

"Well... when I was younger, my parents always used to say to me that 'whenever someone helps you with something you have to help them back'. I just couldn't walk out the door knowing that you were injured and in bad conditions. I wouldn't live in peace if I came here to check on you the next day and find you... well you know how."

Does this mean... she cares about me?

"Whoa, I've never heard of that one before, but thank you anyway" I smiled and she did the same. "Summer, I don't know about you but I feel like we haven't introduce each other properly" I chuckled.

"well, shall we start?" she questioned smiling and drinking the last portion of her juice. Holding out her hand for him to shake she said "Hello, my name is Summer Collins. I'm originally from America, Miami."

"That's a beautiful name Summer. I'm Niall Horan and im from Mullingar, Ireland" I smiled back and we let go of our hands. The doorbell rang and we froze in our seats. It rang again this time a bit longer. Who could it be?

I stood up from my seat while she had a questioning looked on her face. I shrugged my shoulders and made my way over to the front door. As I was opening the door, the person on the other side knocked on the door; well it hit me on the forehead. "Ouch!"
