Chapter 3

Last night me and Derek talked all night. Every message felt like I was falling harder and harder for him every time!

"Am I in love with Derek?" I thought.

"No I can't be, I would get into another fight with a girl, but this time it would be his girl, Bethany. Even though I really wanted to fight her some times I wondered what would happen between me and Derek? I mean a fight started this whole thing anyway?" I thought to myself.

I got a text from Derek!? I hurried and answered it!

"Wanna hang out maybe?"

"What will your girlfriend think?"

"Who's says she has to know?"

"Pick me at 5"

Oh my god I can believe that Derek asked me to hang out with him!? I was blushing so hard, with my super red cheeks, I had to FaceTime Max and Ken right away!

"GUYS I HAVE SOME TEA TO SPILL" I shouted through the phone," "Derek asked me to hang out with him!"

"OMG!" exclaimed Max, "I'm so happy for you!"

"Yeah that's great news," said Ken! "What are you gonna wear!?"

"I don't know I haven't thought about it yet," "what should I wear, I mean he has a girlfriend so I can't wear anything showing or hot can I?"

I decided just to wear something casual but cute. I found this really cute yellow crop top and some ripped pair of jeans. And of course I have to wear my Nike Air Force 1's.

"Is this cute," I asked?

"Yasss," they both shouted!

I heard a honk outside. I looked outside to see who it was. OMG it was Derek!!

"OMG guys he's here" I shouted! "OMG it's after 5. OMG I got to go!"

"Okay have fun and be save," they both yelled as I ended the call.

I ran down the stairs. And saw my meth headed mom.

"I'm outta this bitch," I yelled as I slammed the door behind me.

"Hey I'm sorry I'm late," Derek said in a very polite way.

"It's okay," I said.

"You look cute today," "are those new jeans?"

Wait hold up did Derek just compliment me on my outfit!?

"Thanks!" "And yes these jeans are new"

"Nice, so where do you wanna hang out?"

"I don't know, maybe the park?"

"Park!? That was sounds cool!?"

He seemed to excited about the park. Maybe it's because Bethany is to rich to go to classic places like this. She probably tells him to go to the movies or a really fancy restaurant.

When we got to the park we sat on the swings. And we just talked for hours and hours. We talked about how Bethany has been very jealous of me, and Bethany has been acting very strange lately. Was it because she found out that Derek and I started talking?

He also told me that after the party Derek and Bethany got into a little bit of a fight, and almost broke up. I was so happy to hear that because maybe I could steal Derek from her!

While we were sitting on the swing I looked into his light blue eyes. I could see the pain he was going through with that bitch of a girlfriend.

"Welp I'm hungry, let's go get some frozen yogurt" I said trying to break the silence and so that I wouldn't get lost in his eyes.
