I Adore You

Chapter 6

When Derek left I decided to text Max and Ken about the amazing night we had together.

Today is Friday and Derek was finally at school today. This semester we have all of our classes together so I spent my whole day with Derek.

After school Derek offered me a ride home. As we walked to his grey Jeep there was something on the front of his car window. It read "Want to go to prom with me?"

"Omg Derek someone asked you out to prom, congrats'" I said with a big smile but inside I wish he asked me to prom.

I have never been to prom because no has asked me.

"Actually, I'm doing the asking," he said as his cheeks were getting red.

Derek went to the back of his Jeep and pulled out a big poster on the back it had all the Marvel characters on it and it read "It would be Marvelous if you went to prom with me"

"OMG DEREK! Of course I will go with you!" I shouted in the parking lot.

The parking lot was filled with hundreds of people, because this was after school and everyone wanted to get out of this hell hole that we call school. People started coming over to see what all the commotion was.

I took the poster from Derek and I could feel my eyes starting to tear up. I ran over to Derek and jumped in his big muscular arms and held him so tight. I never wanted to left go. The feeling I had for Derek are stronger then ever!

After hugging for about 5 minutes Derek and I decided to go to his place and watch Marvel movies all night! It was a Friday night so I could stay as long as I wanted too!

When we pulled up to his crib, he opened his garage and I saw this beautiful black Lamborghini Aventador that was wrapped in gold chrome!

"Omg nice car," I said with amazement!

"Thanks it's my parents car," he said.

When we got into the house it smelled like yummy chocolate chip cookies.

"Hey mom," he said to his mom who was in the kitchen making chocolate chip cookies.

"Hey honey is this the girl you have been talking about," she said.

"Umm mom this is Blair," he said while blushing a bit.

"Ohh did you ask her out to prom yet," his mom said.

"Yes mom I did and she said yes," he said while blushing a bit harder.

His mom seemed very nice and sweet. We went to go sit on the couch, his mom came back with the chocolate chip cookies she had just made, and the plate was very hot along with the cookies. We decided to watch a Marvel movie of course. This time we were watching The Black Panther.

It was about 45 minutes into the movie and Derek sits closer to me and puts his arm around me. I put my head on his shoulder. This is my first time "cuddling" with someone other than my mom. I could feel my heart beat faster and faster, and my cheeks get red and even more red.

When the movie was over Derek's mom came down and said.

"I think it's time you take your girl home for the night. It's getting a little late. Her mom might be worried about her," his mom said very gentle and nice like.

"Ok mom I will"

As we walked into the garage Derek grabbed the keys to the Lamborghini.

"We're taking your Lamborghini!?!"

"Yep now get in"

As I got into the car it smelled brand new. The leather black seats were so comfy. As we were driving to my house Derek grabbed my hand and looked at me and smiled with his very white teeth,that were kinda blinding me while we were driving past the street lights.

While in the Lamborghini I looked out the window and up at the beautiful stars. I had the biggest smile on the face. I haven't been this happy in a long time. I never had a relationship like this, where I don't want it to ever end.

As we pulled up onto the dirt road that leads to my house Derek gave me one last big smile, and got out of the car to go open the door for me. He held out his hand to help me out of the car. I grabbed his strong and soft hands as he pulled me up out of the car with his strong muscular arms.

He walked me to the front door of my house. He looked at me straight in the eye.

"I had a great night with you," he said with his red cheeks and his white teeth, and those fricken cute freckles!

"Same I hope we have more nights like these," I told him while staring into his blue eyes, and with my cute smile I told him goodnight.

As he was leaving he brushed his hand through his hair and looked back and said goodnight.

I watched him drive away. Feeling sad that he had left me and I wouldn't be able to see him til tomorrow, I knew I had a great night with him, and that there was going to be many more of those nights to come.
