Why Was I The One Who Was Chosen?

I followed James until we entered a beautiful garden.

"This is amazing!" I said aloud.

"I know, it is pretty amazing. I built it myself I am glad you like it" James said with a smile on his face.

"I don't like it I love it!" I exclamed.

We walk through garden to a little cottage on the other side.

"ok we are here, now lets talk" James said while pushing me in the door and locking it behind me.

"About what?" I say very confused about what was going on.

"Has nobody told you yet?" James says rasing one eyebrow. There was awkward silence there was a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" James said while gesturing for me to hide. I hid like he told me to, in the closet. There was a hole on the door so I peeped through it to see who it was.

"Who do you think it is James" The voice said. It sounded like a young boy. James smiled and opened the door.

"Hey little bro!" He exclaimed as the young boy jumped into his arms hugging him. HIs little brother had a worried look on his face. He then broke the hug and looked at James with a serious face. James saw it and his smile slowly went down were his face looked worried to.

"What's wrong Timmy?" He said looking more worried then he did before.

Timmy started to cry then said."Their back" after he said this he ran out of the house crying. James gestured for me to come out. I can out and looked at him confused.

"Who is he talking about?" I asked with couriousity.

"The Monsters" He said looking at me with a look i would never forget.
