After that day, I have started developing my athleticism and agility. But, since that day, that Prince has decided to take the liberty of visiting me everyday.

But that is off the topic, right now I am at an old forest away from the village and manor and I am trying to fight a 'Demon Beast'  without using magic or weapons, only my hands and with weight on my body.
This is one way I have discovered that can help me increase my balance and develop a fighting style as well, as I found out that with my mana, the closer it is the more effective it is.
So, sometimes I make bursts of fire or earth from my hands or I do this as training.

This Demon Beast is a mutated panther that has spores of poisonous plants in its body and uses its mana to activate them as a weapon. You mainly have to use fire magic as it's very effective against nature magic but I have decided to do this.

I use a form of karate to hit its pressure points and make it immobile , then I hit it with 'the death grip' which is using your index finger and middle finger and applying all the pressure in your body into it to destroy the bone and kill it.

It works and I try to find more higher difficulty beasts. The beast ranking system works by how dangerous they are and goes in an alphabetic scoring system, A, being weakest and Z being highest.

It died with a thud and a small yelp before it disappeared into small spores in the air.

I felt sorry for the dear creature, it was in fact a normal animal but because of this village growing and needing more materials, they venture further and kill more.

I look at the village and sit on a stump that I could find. It is a simple and rustic town with cobble paved roads and ivy locking the bricks together and wood on top of that, it is very beautiful.
I look at my home, one of three manors that sit at the side of a hill where the duke resides.

I sigh and try to find something to eat. The area around me is a wood forest and a small stream with clear water. I see daisies and buttercups sway with dandelion seeds in the wind, but I see apple trees and bushes with bright purple berries
I go to them and forage before swiftly eating a quarter of the berries grown.

After a while, when the sun died down and the warmth of the sun slowly hid in the horizon, I grabbed my jar of herbs and fruits that I kept before going back to the manor.
So far my life has been a useless journey of clichés. I have been all-powerful, a prodigy in some sense, but I feel something is missing.

Maybe it's the heroine and villainess?
Maybe it's some demon king I have to stop?
Maybe some magic academy?

Maybe... or not. Maybe it's all of them, but that is still dull. I am powerful but I want to be weak, weak enough to learn skills and slowly gain my title rather than this birth.

I reach the doorstep with a sigh before I open the door, I see a tea party in the corner with snakes and foxes in chairs and I see. The Prince, the crown prince, is sat there with a business smile listening to idle chatter about proposals or political schemes or revenge against families.

I ignore them and make my way to the steps and was about to reach the banister, until.

"Have you heard about a new immortal?"

"Yes, apparently someone got to level ten and the other five are in outrage to find the person. This one has been hiding though, I don't know why.."

"Yeah, the only way they found was through an intervention by a god,"

"Maybe it's that new duke of Ardlau, even if he wasn't immortal or a god I would do anything to get to him..."

And just like that the chatter started again about love triangles and secret concorts that lords keep in waiting and how unfair it was for Lady Evulo to have been divorced for a maid when she had a child between them already.

I profusely sweated for two reasons in such a sudden second and then lightly smirked.

I would have to delve deeper into these 'rumors' but I believe something is going to change, something is going to happen. Whether I like it or not.

I glance back to the table and see the Prince glancing at me, I look back with a glare and he smirks before picking up his cup and drinking some earl grey.
I scowl and briefly walk up the stairs and go to my room.

Let's start with these rumors.

I sigh in annoyance and grab my recent sources.
