Chapter 49: Lost Without You(Part 2)
|Aron Michaels|
"It was a beautiful service" I said as I sat down at Kellan's Vanity Mirror and Kyle walked from the bathroom carrying another box of her bathroom products. He replied, "This campus has no respect. The day of her funeral all her stuff has to be gone or they would throw it out! That is some bitch shit." I stared back at him as he placed the box down on her now naked bed. We was waiting for Cordell and Hara to come and tote this mirror out of here. I just got a pedicure and everyone knows these muscles are for show.
Kyle exhaled, "I think we handled it better than we expected. How is Isaac?"
"He said he was going to take a nap and he will call me tonight if he wanted to go and do something...he is flying to Paris in a few weeks. Its where they first fell in love so its only right"
"Wish I can go, but now that I have accepted this damn job again I leave for L.A within a few weeks." He told me.
"So its official...you are dropping out?" I asked him. He crossed his arms and told me, "No. I am going to do Summer Classes online. Its going to be tough, but if I have to sit thru yall graduation in a few days to accept Kellan's Degree in her honor. I have to finish for myself. Its going to be tough, but I have to finish." I heard his voice crack and I stood up and say beside him and wrapped my arms around him. He laid on my chest and exhaled, "I cant believe she is really dead."
"Our girl for life. Kellan is responsible for many things happening in my life: One being meeting Cordell and 2 being finally getting a gay bestfriend in you. I love you now Kellan would be so pissed at us if we are still sad so how about this...After we finish here lets get a bottle and-"
"cant. Mikey has to fly back to San Fran today and we are going out." He told me as I slapped his arm and spoke, "Ive been meaning to ask what the fuck happened. Last I checked you was about to marry Ez, then I see you in a waiting room all into Mikey."
"I took your advice and had a heart to heart with Ez. We came to the conclusion that our love is basically before its time and never at the right time. My career is taking off while his life is jogging in place." He told me. I smiled and laughed, "I hope you made the right choice"
"I didnt. The right choice is getting them to compromise and we become a thruple. Its 2021 for crying outloud" He said as we burst out laughing and as he continued, "I have enough ass to take them both. I promise."
"You so stupid. I swear!" I told him as he sat up wiping his eyes as he started crying laughing. He took a deep breath and asked, "And Harvard?"
"I got in...havent told anyone else yet so close your big mouth"
"WHAT?!? WHY?!? This is epic!" He cheered for me as I pursed my lips and replied, "It is, but my life with Cordell maybe hold a little more weight than a dream school and profession. And I think I have to make a choice." His eyes spreaded wide as we heard knocks at the front door and he hopped up in his large hoodie and jeans.
"I got it." He told me as he ran as he ran out of the room. I leaned back on the bed and within moments later Cordell and Hara walked in dressed in gym attire.
"Someone called for movers" Hara stated as I laughed, "Yes, we did. I aint breaking one of my nails."
"Oh please your pretty boy ass just doesnt wanna break a sweat!" Cordell joked as I stuck the middle finger at him as I pointed, "This is the mirror."
Hara stated, "Oh fuck that Imma go get the rope from my uncle car and we can scale it down the apartment." He ran off as Cordell stared at me and spoke, "beautiful service" he wanted to start a convo. Ever since the hospital about 5 days ago we have been sleeping in seperate homes. Ive been with Kyle up at the Vixen Residence. Ive been dreading finishing out conversation because I honestly dont know how it continues nor end. I have to options in both of my hands that I dont know which one imma drop.
