Chapter 36: The Other Side.

HALLOWEEN EVE

"The decision was clear! We give up the rest of our social events until further notice. They found bags of drugs that we cant tell the truth about. Especially, being how would we explain we supply half the campus and was working for Pablo. Who has been in the wind since that conversation via the phone 2 weeks ago!" Ez told Cordell as they sat at the dining room table inside the Alpha Ki house, along with Dom and O'Hara.

"This man is playing a damn game! He trying to bait us until slipping up. I still dont know how we are still on campus after that." Hara butted in.

Cordell licked his lips and confessed, "I know why, because remember those pledges from that frat in those very explicit videos that went around campus. Those boys parents are in a legal battle with the school saying they was drugged now if this story about Alpha Ki becomes national news they would lose."

"I swear I am not even surprised you know this. Look I know we are known for our Halloween parties, but this year it aint happening. Besides we are dealing with someone much more scarier than the boogy man. A real life Michael Myers!" Ez stated as Cordell phone went off on the table in front of him. He saw Aron txted him and he grabbed his jacket and stated, "SHIT! I got to go!"

25 Minutes later.

Cordell walked into the campus mock court room and quickly spotted Kellan, Isaac, and Kyle sitting third row as he saw Aron behind the defense table. He had made it. This was Aron's midterm grade to get this unbiased judge to rule in his favor in this fake case. Cordell sat next to Isaac and whispered, "Wassup, little mexican, Kellz, and Kyle." They all waved at him and he spoke, "GO ROSE! Check it out I am on your field!" Heads turned and Aron turned to him and whispered, "Be quiet and this is a courtroom!"

"ALL ARISE. THE HONORABLE JUDGE DAVID ROSSE PRECEDING!" The fake bailiff stated.

"Wow this is feeling all too real." Kellan mumbled as she got a message to her phone. She pulled it out and read a message that adds to the 25 she has gotten the past two weeks.

"I know what you did."

She swiftly deleted as they was told to sit.

"I am surprisingly impress with you Mister Michaels...after reading this mock case I didnt know you have a defense strategy for this man murdering 10 women in cold blood. However not only using the insanity plea yet you went deeper bringing up childhood trauma and bringing in therapist and doctors to confirm reports. I see you are ready because the criminal defense world needs young men like you. Ill finish my grading and give it to your professor. Thanks everyone."

I turned around and saw my friends and Cordell clapping. I came out to greet them and Cordell picked me up and twirled me around. We kissed and he whispered, "Seeing you up there made my dick hard..you know your shit! I may need you!" I hit his chest and warned him, "You better not!" He placed him down and he hugged Isaac, Kyle, and then Kellan.

"Okay that was my last midterm. Its 8 o clock on Halloween Eve and I just want to drink Patron and regret it tomorrow."

"Sorry, but I have to finish filming this scene and my partner on this project has finally agreed to meet up." Kyle told me as he blew me a kiss and rushed out of the courtroom.

"Its a double date then!" Cordell stated as I grabbed his hand and we walked out of the court room and started walking towards the parking lot. Kellan and Isaac was a few feet in front of us.

"Rose you killed it. So you never told me why you wanted to be a lawyer.Like was it some major life event that turned you onto it?" Cordell as me as I grabbed his hand tighter as we crossed the nature bridge.
