THE OASIS

4 YEARS LATER

"Antwonn, its your first day of school. Get up and lets goo nowww" Aron stated as he opened the door to Antwonn room and spotted him already dressed and trying to pen his clip on his jacket. Aron smiled and walked over and kneeled down. Antwonn turned to him and he rubbed down his jacket and exhaled, "You look amazing. Are you nervous?"

"No. All of my friends from snorkeling class is in my class. And Dad dont cry!" He told Aron as Aron laughed, "Boy, if I wanna cry Im going to cry. Now lets go!"

The two opened the back patio door to their 2 story house. Ol'Drake had let the two of them move in with him. A year after that he died of a shark attack off the coast of the waters and left 300 thousand dollars in the basement treasure chest that Aron couldnt just let go to waste. They walked down the beach, holding hands and he said, "Once we get closer you are letting my hand go."

Aron chuckled, "I swear I want my little baby back. You treat me so wrong at only 5."

"Ill always be your little baby, but inside the house. How am I going to get a girl if she thinks I still need you to walk with me and hold my hand." Antwonn stated as I laughed, "You are a mess."

"Maybe if you go on that date with Mister Burns maybe you would leave me alone" Antwonn stated.

"I told you, my heart belongs to another."

"I know. My uncle. You tell me about him all the time. And-"

"And he told me in our last conversation near far wherever I am he will come to me. I have no desire for any other man. You can only wish for a love like your uncle and I have" I told him as I let go his hand as we turned the corner. The school sits on the shoreline. As we got closer we seen everyone standing at the beach waving towards the water.

"Whats going on?" I mumbled before telling him to stay close to me. We walked up and I spotted Marina and her husband. I walked over to her and asked, "Whats going on?"

"Its a boat out in the water. We dont know if its anchored or not. So everyone is waving to see if someone is on it." She stated as I turned my head back towards the water as we saw a man stand up and dive into the water. Everyone gasped, "A newcomer." Everyone clapped and it reminded me of the night we arrived in the Oasis. We was welcomed with so many good vibes.

The man got closer and closer as Antwonn pulled at my leg. I looked down at him and he pointed at the name on the side of the boat. I squinted and My jawdropped.

"No way" I gasped as Marina rubbed my back and asked, "Are you okay?"

"Dad, its says Rose. Didnt you say he told you in the bathroom when you see Rose...I have returned to you. The boat is named Rose." Antwonn stated as I walked slowly towards the water taking off my shirt with emotion flying over me. I jumped into the water and started swimming towards the man not knowing who this was, but Cordell was all for riddles and for 4 years Ive been holding out for any sign. We got closer and his head came up as his feet touched the ground. We stared at eachother and my body went numb.

"Jack..."

"Rose!" He said as tears ran down his face. I walked thru the water to him as our lips crashed into one another. I wrapped my arms around him and cried out, "I never gave up."

"Im sorry it took so long. And I know this is long overdue but will you do me the honor and becoming Mister Aron Spacey." Cordell asked as he went into his pocket and pulled put a box. He opened it and showed the ring with a Rose shaped diamond that glistened. Aron cried out as he slid it on his finger and said, "YES! A million times, yes!" They kissed again as they held hands and walked out of the water as he spotted 5 year old Antwonn. He walked over and kneeled down at him and said, "Hey, Im your Uncle-" Antwonn quickly wrapped his arms around him and that embrace reminded Cordell of their last one 4 years ago.

Cordell stared up at Aron and asked, "Vi?"

"didnt board the boat in Boston. I dont know what happened to her. Ol'Drake said that she ended up just dropping Antwonn off. I am just happy that you came back to me."

"I told you, I got you right?"

"You did." Aron said as they hugged and Cordell exhaled, "I cant wait to get started on our life together."

"Together. I like the sound of that." Aron smirked.

MEANWHILE IN L.A

"Kyle Vixen how does it feel to be apart of such an amazing cast. THUG INK was a movie that broke box office. Im talking plot twist after plot twist..where did the idea come from?"

"Well this story wrote itself because again I took pieces from my real life experiences and put it all together trying not to go too far off track. I wrote most of it during my final year of college as I was coping with such lost in my life ."

"Many reports and movie critics says this movie is adapted from the real life crime story of Aron Michaels & Cordell Spacey...the gay lovers that left many dead in their wake. Who in fact was friends of yours?" The reporter asked Kyle trying to dig deeper.

Kyle chuckled, "rumors keeps me in the  bag. And when it comes to Aron and Cordell dont ever use the word 'was' because they are STILL my friends because you seen the ending of the
movie right..."

"Yes. The screen goes dark and it time jumps about 10 years and they have an entire family and living well on a lost beach called Paradise. Do you actually think the real life Aron and Cordell are alive somewhere on some island living their best lives"

"When you have a love like those two have. No man power could never keep yall apart. Now I would love to stay and chat but I have to meet my husbands at our table. Now take one final picture of this snatching ass LOOK!" Kyle said as he posed.

Back in the Oasis, Cordell laughed and stated, "Kyle is still a fool. I cant believe he went and wrote our damn love story"

"I mean we chat every week so I made sure he got all the details right!" Aron told Cordell. Cordell laughed, "All the way to you grabbing my dick!  Who plays us in this movie!?"

"How about we stop fucking for 2 hours and watch it. Kellan would have love this. Kyle got the perfect cast! Plus he was just happy him, Ez, and Mikey got to play themselves"

"Ohh bet they loved that!" Cordell said laughing as he wrapped his arms around him as Aron clicked play.

The opening scene started and Cordell sat up and exhaled, "I was literally under a damn rock how didnt I know about this."

"Where was you anyway?" Aron asked.

"some small town in boston building that boat with some guys keeping my head low. You have to always hide in plain sight."

"Well luckily for us we dont have to hide anymore!" Aron told him as he leaned over and they kissed. They put their attention back on the TV screen and paid attention.

"Perfect. The night of the start of something new...and it still feels so right to be here with you." Cordell stated. Aron looked over into his eyes and replied, "And now looking in your eyes-I feel in my heart...the start of something new."
