"We there yet?" I ask again, and Haya groans.

The two of us had only been walking for a couple of minutes, but I did find it somewhat amusing to see her complaining and whining every time I asked if we had arrived to our destination. By the time we reached a supermarket, Haya all but shoved me in through the doors, an irritated glare on her face. I can't help but snicker lightly.

"We're here," she grumbles, and I tilt my head slightly as I look around.

"What is this place?" I ask. Haya shrugs. "A store, but we don't gotta pay for anything. I just came here cuz they have soda, and I really need a soda right now."

One could compare her to some sort of addict.

Haya continued down a random aisle, and I followed suit. The two of us examined the shelves together.

"There's nothing here," I murmur, a small 'oof' escaping me as I bump into someone.

"Oh! Sorry!"

I look down to see a rather fidgety male, with big round glasses and hair pulled back into a ponytail. He chuckles sheepishly. "I should watch where I'm going..."

"It's fine," I say. He smiles for a second before a realization dawns on him. "You're--"

"The dead kid from earlier, yeah," I interrupt. "You guys just love to point that out."

The boy's cheeks redden a bit, and he glances downward.

"Ah. Sorry- I was just worried. I'm glad you're okay."

"You gotta be nice to Bando," a small voice chirps, and my eyes drift to a little girl with rosy cheeks rollerskating to his side. Why was she wearing skates? The girl spins in little circles as she speaks. "Bando's kinda a scaredy cat, so you have to talk soft to him."

The boy frowns, fiddling with his sleeves. "I'm...not. Uh. I'm Bando Hiromitsu, the Ultimate Cake Decorator. I...really didn't mean to upset you."

"It's really fine," I say, offering a gentle smile

"It's really fine," I say, offering a gentle smile. Haya, who finally decided to join into the conversation, smiled as well. "The kid ain't wrong; Bando shrieked like a little girl earlier because a butterfly landed on his nose."

"It surprised me!" He whined. The little girl with the skates rolled her eyes a bit. "Enough about Bando; let's look at me! I'm Tamami Sanyu, the Lil' Ultimate Roller Skater. I love love looooove to skate! Wanna see me skate?"
