Aia and Aizane was outside the house of Ian along with the young man who was now waiting for a tricycle that the two girls will be their means of transportation. Ian apologized to them specially to Aia regarding on how their classmates behave earlier.
Her mother asked her how was the party went on when she arrived. She told her everything to her mother including what their friends did during the time they were at Ian's house. Her mom laugh when she finished her story and Mrs. Talavera seemed to like Ian for her daughter.
"Aia, I think what your friends did earlier was to help Ian confess to you his true feelings. He might like you or maybe he's in love with you and since you're friends he can't express it through words"
"Mom, stop! we're just friends okay? dont give any color to it."
"But what if I'm right? what if he do have special feelings for you, what will u do?"
"I don't know Mom, its just that I dont know if I'm readyy to have a boyfriend as of now"
"Paano mo naman malalaman kung hindi mo susubukan?"
"What if I fail? I dont want to be the reason for him to get hurt again? he had suffered enough when Jackie gaved him false hope and in the end rejected him. That's unbearable for him to suffer"
"Tell me, do you like him? I mean do you have special feelings for him, tell me the truth Aia"
"W-well... I'm not so sure. I'm confused on what I feel for him right now. True, I feel hurt and Ipitty him when I found out that Jacquie rejected him and my heart cried for him that time. I get a bit jealous that Jacquie now is talking to Ian. She acknowledge's Ian now that I am here as his friend. And I feel that I have to protect him from being hurt again"
"Silly, you are jealous and you're not aware that you are slowly falling in love with him. You haven't notice it because you have a lot in common. Listen to me and listen very well... Aia, you already loved Ian as we speak right now. So the question is... will you accept Ian's confession once he confess his feelings for you? you dont have to answer me right away Baby, think about what I said" her mom told her.
When she reaches her room? she jump into her bed and think about what her mother told her. Naisip din niya ang mga ginawa ng binata para sa kaniya. How he takes good care of her and everything. By remembering all those things that Ian have done for her? she plaster a sweet smile on her face and accept to herself the fact that she's in love to her male best friend.
At the school. Everyone knew what happen during Ian's birthday, all thanks to their friends who loved gossiping. Their other classmates are now asking them if they were already in a relationship but they answered 'NO" for their classmates dismay.
But Aizane was fuming mad for those bestfriends of her so she thaught that she must do something to help her friends confess to each other.
Author's POV
Whatever Aizane was thingking right now? I hope its something good for those two friends of hers. Aizane sometimes can be silly,crazy,happy-go-lucky,serious and even being BOLD to whatever she thinks. Now, I think Aizane wants to play cupid for those two. Fight!
They were now in one of their classroom by subject and it was around one o'clock in the afternoon. They sit all together. Ian on the left end while Aizane was in the middle and Aia was in the right end of the long armchairs that's good for three persons.
