Every mission they went on went smoothly now that Chan joined them officially. Woojin was grateful for it too, knowing that Chan was there to stop most things and heal them when it's needed. Although this one mission went downhill. Chan and Woojin found themselves tied up and blindfolded. Chan specifically had something metal around his throat and whenever he tried to use his powers he was shocked.
Woojin had begged Chan to stop using it, unable to bare hearing his pained whimpers and cries. Chan listened at some point, too exhausted to do anything anymore. He slumped against the hard wall, waiting for whatever was going to happen.
...
"Well, well, i'm surprised. I thought they'd get Jisung or Hyunjin not you.."
Chan's old boss grinned, having taken the blindfold off Chan and Woojin. His fingers gripped Chan's face harshly, the so called weapon not flinching or doing anything other than glaring at the old man in front of him. Woojin sniffed,
"You had to resort to cowardly tricks to catch him and me, it's pathetic. Don't think you'll get away from this whole ordeal for a long time, old man. Soon your precious control over this city will end and we'll be laughing as you rot in a cell."
The man looked over at Woojin with an amused look and released Chan's face to walk over. Woojin glared and as expected, a foot went flying into the side of his head and he was hissing in pain as he slumped on the ground. Chan growled in a warning type of way but everyone knew he wouldn't be able to do anything. He was stuck there, stuck having to watch his former boss kick and laugh like a maniac as Woojin grunted in pain until he was spitting blood.
"Do you want to talk again, huh?"
The man snickered, getting nothing but a glare from the leader of StrayKids - although he felt like he lost that title when Chan started helping them out, not that he was complaining. Woojin didn't expect Chan to speak up,
"He's right. You won't be able to get away with this torture you're creating for much longer. After you're gone and anyone whose on your side, we're creating a better city."
Chan spat, the old man turning and looking at him. The younger was grinning at the said dictator in front of him that was fuming,
"You're going to hell and I'm going to stand and watch with a smile."
Chan ended and a foot crashed into his side but he didn't care. No matter how much his body ached after the man left and shut the door, no matter how bruised his body was now when he was finished. He couldn't wait until he was able to smile down at him and be in control.
He managed to get himself sitting up again, and looked over at Woojin who was sighing,
"Are you ok, Chan?"
"Thats what i need to ask you. Are you ok?"
Chan asked, Woojin nodding and they both fell silent. Chan was wondering what the boys were doing. Wondering if they were planning a side mission to save them, or would initiate the final mission with a bit of touch ups. Woojin was wondering the same thing as well, this topic something they didn't need to voice.
They knew the boys wouldn't let them suffer in here for the rest of the time. So they didn't worry about not getting help. Chan closed his eyes and breathed in. He prayed to the woman that was crying in his head, prayed to someone he didn't know. Someone that he couldn't remember to protect his boys. Not just Jisung, Changbin and Hyunjin. But all of them. Jeongin, Seungmin, Felix, Woojin, Changbin, Hyunjin, Minho and Jisung. His boys.
...
"So we have a problem.."
Hyunjin proclaimed, Minho sighing,
"We all been knew that, Hyunjin. Chan and Woojin are gone and now we don't know where they are although we have suspicions they're at the main main base of the government and we have no way of rescuing them without initiating the final plan we had been prepping for although a major part of it is currently probably tied up and in a room or cell."
"Jeez... No need for the sass."
Hyunjin muttered and pouted Seungmin patting his arm gently and sighing out. Jeongin furrowed his eyebrows with worry, as Felix sat in his seat shockingly and alarmingly quiet. Changbin noticed this and watched the young boy before speaking,
''Felix? Are you alright?"
"Just... Thinking."
Felix sighed out and ran a hand through his messy blonde hair. Jisung furrowed his eyebrows before closing his eyes with a sigh,
"We'll need to initiate the final plan... We need Chan and Woojin back and we need them safe. Even if it means that our plan will start earlier than expected. We'll just switch it up."
Jisung began, and explained everything. Everyone listened intently, focused on the boy that was for once being so serious. He explained that Hyunjin and Felix will go and save Woojin and Chan, while Changbin and him were with the others and making sure everything doesn't get out of hand. And when they have Chan and Woojin back and ready they'll either retreat and hide or take out the dictator once and for all.
Everyone let out sounds of agreement and rushed to get ready for the mission. Jisung took a deep breath in and looked out the window at the pitch black sky. Lightning flashed a few times as rain hit the window. They were ready.
They were ready to end this suffering and ready to be able to find out their past. To find out if they had family.
More importantly, to find out who they were before they were turned into weapons.
