chapter 1

I stare outside the car window lost in my own thoughts, Had no idea what I was thinking about I decided to play a game of 'would you rather' with myself you know! stay occupied, would I rather be invisible for a day or fly for a day?

hmm! I choose fly. for certain reasons ' miles!'. I heard my name shrugging it off I continued  would you rather..." miles!" I snapped out
" Yeah?" it was my aunt the only one I live with after my parents died
" Young man; what are you thinking about?"I hope is not about your your brother again?
"But Aunt .B, I just don't understand How he could have been killed soon after our parents were like-How?"
" Miles; I told you forget about that,can you remember what I told you about moving on."
"It helps us become better people"
" Good! Now chin up you don't want people giving you pity party's ,do you?"

I grabbed my side bag and left the car saying bye to them my uncle never really said much, they had just dropped me off at school 

I went in through the hallway. I had just one true friend Jane. And others  I rearly talk to and the rest I just knew; I liked to keep a low profile at school I went over to class considering they haven't started I met Jane with some others talking she walked over and gave me a fist bump
Jane ; wasn't a girly-girl like all the others but she's had her moments   and at first hand she might seem mean but that's just her being herself and guys didn't care they still tried to date her, why? because she was dead beautiful ,she had brown hair what looked like hazel coloured eyes and to top it all off she had swag ,quite the friend.
"Come sit with us "
"I'll be there in a minute ",I said walking to the middle row where our sits are I put my bag down on top the table sat down and placed my head on it I needed to get myself together and stop thinking which I did finally going over to join them , we talked for a few before the teacher came in .

He thought for an hour before leaving the class , I followed Jane to the cafeteria with the rest of her friends I toke my tray to the lunch lady as she slammed the potato salad on my tray with a side of green peas ,I asked for some bacon like my brother used to. Jane was the only part of him i have left of him they always made a cute couple  he was a class ahead of me and Jane , so yes! he was our senior he had my back at school and at home I wonder how am gonna go on without him.
" Are you Okay!  young man?"

" Yes ma'am?" I smiled gently ignoring the sinking feeling in my stomach.

I realized soon that I was holding up the line and left quickly for my seat,i sat next to them we chatted and laughed Daniel told a story heard recently about the notorious 'tempest clan' and how they never took shit likely with anyone he claimed to have gotten into a brawl with one and survived it was hard believing him
Since he tells alot of these stories no one ever took him seriously but it was
Fun listening though as he swung his fist everywhere explaining his fight ; bell rang we went for our last class I made my way home after school with Jane . She stopped me in my tracks

"Are you worried about what happened to George?"  She asked

" As a matter of fact, I am I can't just sit back knowing that someone or. Something out there killed him and are Walking free "

" If it helps I miss him too,  I'll like to join you and figure it out ."  She said giving me a hug .

I got home " Honey! how was school ? Dinner will be ready in a few !!!" Aunt.B yelled out from the  kitchen .

"Don't worry Aunt .B ,I'm not that hungry I'll just be in my room"

My sigh was loud in the silence and I felt completely and utterly alone. Going straight to my bed, I snuggled in, hoping tomorrow would be better. just then I got a call the number was unknown I picked it

" Hello ,who is this ?"

" I know who killed you parents if you want to yourself meet me after school at the café I'll be texting you now"
I froze as the caller cut.
