After the attack on the school, people have been mourning the loss of their friends and fixing the place up once more.
Clementine had an idea to save Aasim and Omar and to get revenge on lily but you didn't like it at all but it wasn't your call.
You've already lost so much in the matter of weeks being here.
Ana hadn't even recovered well enough to help and we all knew she'd want to. Marlon has been busy dealing with her and it's just all a mess.

After what seemed to be days but was only hours of cleaning up the courtyard, exhausted you.
Your tailbone was pretty much bruised and you had cuts and scratches here and there but Ruby made sure to clean them up.
Your body covered with sweat and dirt.
You shivered from the thought of a nice cold shower, oh how you'd enjoy your time.

You were picking back up the picnic tables that had been pushed over for cover back into their original places.
Louis and Violet had been dragging the dead, dead bodies out of the courtyard and somewhere into the woods to keep the smell away.

You sighed and gently plopped down onto the bench of the picnic table and wiped sweat off your forehead.
You felt someone sit next to you and it was Clementine, she looked over at you with a worried expression.
"What's the matter?" You asked.
"I'm just worried.."
"What about?"
"What if everything doesn't go to plan?" Clementine asked.
You placed a soft hand on her shoulder and she melted into your touch by bringing you into a hug.
You being surprised by the sudden gesture, hesitated but held her back eventually.
"It'll all be okay.. whatever happens.. happens." You said sadly but tried to reassure her.
She sighed and pulled back and looked into your calming eyes, you staring back in her determined ones.
The gap between you both seemed to be closing and the two of you hadn't realized it until someone spoke up, weakly but teasingly.
"I was knocked out for a few hours and you two are already making the moves.." they said.
You both jumped away from each other and looked down, you decided to look up at the source to see an even paler than before, Ana.
She looked down on you two with a forced smile but you could tell she meant it.
"Uhm-" you tried to say something but you cut yourself off because you didn't want to embarrass yourself even more so you stayed quiet, hoping she'd just go away... she didn't, instead she let out a breathy laugh and looked at Clementine for answers, "so?" Ana mustered out..
"It's nothing." Clementine said, she stood up and walked over towards Ana, wrapping and arm around her waist, at first this made you jealous but you shook it off. Ana looked over at you and shook her head with a slight smile, "don't worry buttercup, she's just helping me over to Marlon." She pointed at the watch tower and there stood a lonely, but worried Marlon.
Your cheeks became heated and you're pretty sure you saw Clementines glowing a dark red.
You shook your head and stood up also wrapping an arm around Ana, "wow.. I'm so overwhelmed with all the attention on me." She jokingly said as she looked down at her waist that was being held by Clementine and you, "but don't flatter yourself.. I got my eyes on someone." She cheekily said, it was obvious who it was, I mean she'd spend most of her time with him.
Marlon.
He was sweet towards her and just really cared about her and you could tell Ana felt the same.
You didn't really know what Love was but Ana and Marlon definitely knew what it was.

You and Clementine both helped Ana over to the watch tower where Marlon has climbed down, waiting for his dear 'friend'. He smiled and quickly took Ana from both of your arms and placed his own around her tiny waist.
You smiled at the two and waved before you could get yourself into anymore awkward situations.
Clementine following suit.
You two walked back to the bench and sat down, not saying a word.
Until she looked over at you with a shy smile, "we almost kissed, huh?" She laughed a bit and you just looked down at your lap, playing with your fingers,"yeah.."
she frowned and turned her head away "I'm sorry I made you uncomfortable." She said sadly, you only looked over at her and spoke up "no! You're okay.. let's not talk about it anymore ok?" Even though you really wanted to discuss it but not right now, not here anyway.
She nodded and stood up, "well, I'm gonna go check on AJ and Abel." She said and you frowned at the name 'Abel', "he's still alive?" You said.
She scoffed and placed her hands on her hips, "sadly yes." She grimly said before she walked off towards the basement.
Loud laughter could be heard from Marlon, you looked over and saw Ana talking to him, she must be saying something actually funny this time.
She was funny, not like Louis but genuinely funny..
She didn't force jokes or whatever. I mean Louis was pretty funny and cute.. he could never get old to you.
You smiled at the thought and as just on cue, Louis came through the gates with Violet, them both stopping to greet Ana and Marlon and possibly to tease them, yet they were still upset with Marlon, it never hurt to speak to him.
They then made their way towards you and sat beside you, both panting from all the heavy lifting.
"Gah! I'm all sweaty!" Louis cried out which caused you to laugh a bit, he looked over at you and raised a brow, "what? You are too!" He pointed out and you swatted at him which caused him confusion, "what's this for?" He yelled out why blocking your blows, Violet shook her head "you don't tell a girl when she looks sweaty." She said with a slight smile sneaking its way on her face. You stopped messing with Louis and placed your hands on your head and began to wipe away the sweat. Louis smiled and did the same, "didn't say she didn't look good." A smirk plastered on his face, you stopped what you were doing and glared at him.. getting your hands ready to attack his arms with soft blows. His eyes widened and he quickly got up and rushed into the admin building, you were the one smirking now. Violet threw her hands in the air in triumph and clapped for you, "you finally got rid of him!" She laughed.
You shook your head with a smile, it was good everyone still got along and laughed when we were currently going through a crisis.
But all you could think about was Clementine and the almost kiss.
Violet stood up and began to walk away after saying, "I'm gonna go check on Tenn." you had nodded at her and you looked down at your hands that laid in your lap, your tired eyes began to droop so you decided to get up and make your way to your room to take a nap.
So you did. Limping your way there.
You finally arrived and shut the door and proceeded to carefully plop onto your bead and lay your head back.. your body finally resting.
Sleep took over you and you dreamt about everyone at the school, good things of course.
