One last month, Scar. Just one more. I think to myself as I sit in class tapping my pen on my notebook. When will this professor just stop talking, collect our papers, and give us instructions for our final paper?

I start browsing for places to go on trip with Esme. I realize I get a little more excited the more I search around the web and talk about it with Esme.

"Okay everyone, for your final assignment, you will write a peer-reviewed fifteen page report about the project you were working on throughout the last semester in our class. Please include all of your data and create a small website with any visuals that would help our participating professors and I understand your project. You will all need to turn it in on the very last day of our class." Well there goes all of my free time. "You are now dismissed and please drop of your essay that is due today on the desk. Goodnight."

I quickly pull out the folder holding my essay, grab my bag, and drop my essay on the desk as I walk out of class to my car.

I try to hurry to my car wanting to get home as soon as I can to knockout immediately. It's going to be another long day tomorrow. With these travel plans in mind and my last assignments I have for school, I called in an emergency meeting for tomorrow in the afternoon to discuss plans for my team.

As soon as I see my car I quickly make my way to it as I'm one of the few left in the parking lot. I throw my bag on the passenger seat and fix myself inside. I start the car and as I look through the rearview mirror I see a shadow of a man leaning on a car.

Probably someone just waiting to pick up somebody else. Making my way through the exit, I turn to see if he's still there but he's disappeared.

Creepy. I'm probably just too sleepy.

Finally at home, I step into the leaving room and see Esme's boyfriend walk down the stairs. "Hi Eric!"

"What's up Scar? I haven't seen you in a while!" he walks over and gives me a quick hug.

"Oh you know, school and work. You?"

"Nothing much just working too. I wanted to come over and see Esme."

"Oh ok, is she upstairs?" I ask.

"Yeah she's in her room."

I walk upstairs into my room to drop off my stuff and go across the hall to know on Esme's door, "Hey Esme! Can I come in?"

She yells out, "Yeah!"

She steps outside of her bathroom and flops on her bed, "Sit," she taps on her bed signaling me to sit on her bed.

"I caught Eric downstairs."

"Oh yeah. He wanted to come over. Kind of didn't want him to but you know, he gets a little annoying."

"Shut up. You know you love him." I smack her butt teasing her because she knows she's crazy about him.

She rolls over onto her back and asks me, "Is it okay if he stays over? I mean now that he's here might as well make him leave happy."

I fall back on her bed laughing, "Of course he can! Just don't make too much noise. I have a long day tomorrow."

"Wear some earbuds honey. Goodnight!"

Did she just say that? Gross!

Right after I put my pajamas on and set my alarm for tomorrow morning, I go under my covers and close my eyes to sleep. I'm sort of nervous on discussing the plans I have for my team for the time I will be away which will be sometime mid-June, not sure which days yet exactly but I just want them to be ready. Since we started, I haven't left my team to work alone. Josh and I built up our team of developers to work on my artificially intelligent operating system and now we're very close to presenting our very own first version of our program.

It all started when my passion for programming developed in high school. Every since, I feel like it's all magic to me. I learned to develop all sorts of things very quickly and decided it would be best to put my skills and passion into a unique project that would make a great impact in our society.

Josh and I met in our first year in college when he noticed my abilities to hack very secure sites and devices. He was a double major in business and computer science. Because he was more focused in business, I helped him out a lot and I asked him to become a co-founder of my company.

For now we're still just a small startup called Nebula. While we complete our first working version of our program, we search for new team members and venture capitalists to fund our startup. We've been very lucky to have small donors believe in our vision and contribute money to us. It's just going to take us one big break for us to put ourselves out to the whole world.

Somehow I believe my team and I will do great. We just have to work really work hard.
