Summary; Spider spray will be the death of Peter's secret identity.

Includes panic attacks, swearing.

Another one of these I wrote a while back, sloppy, but why not post it

Peter and the decathlon team were going out of town to a competition. It was in San Fransisco, and the whole team would be sharing a hotel room to save money. Midtown wasn't the richest school, so they did whatever they could to cut costs. The hotel room was large, and no-one had to share beds. There were two bathrooms and two separate rooms; a bedroom and a living room. The beds were regular twin-sized, and there were eight of them in total.

When the team got their keys everyone rushed inside the room to claim the best bed. Peter and Ned got the two that were closest to the window so that Peter could easily slip away. He did bring his suit on the trip, but that was just in case of emergencies, or if he felt like slipping away and hanging out with Scott and Hope instead.

It was late in the evening and Peter felt tired after the long day of traveling. As previously mentioned, Midtown wasn't the richest. That meant flying on a budget airline, to a small airport far away from the city and sitting on a bus the rest of the way. Super. Fun.

Peter changed into sweatpants and a hoodie and decided to join the rest of the team in the living room. Everyone was watching the small TV, which was currently showing a news broadcast about a fight the Avengers had fought the day before.

"There were no civilian casualties, thanks to the heroic team of a few Avengers that arrived at the scene. Captain America, Black Widow, Scarlett Witch, Iron Man, and Spider-Man were all at the scene, trying to prevent the bridge from collapsing. The cause of the bridge collapse is unknown and is being investigated by the government."

The broadcast stopped and soon swapped to something about an anti-vaccine protest in Germany. The teens, except for MJ of course, all lost interest.

"Lucky that Spider-Man was there. I bet he was the one who saved the most lives." Flash said proudly as if he was the superhero in disguise. Peter gave him an odd look that went unnoticed.

"Why do you like Spider-Man so much?" Ned asked, pocketing his phone and staring at Flash.

"I don't know if you were there, fatty, but a few months ago in DC, he saved all of our asses. Plus, he's a dope superhero and I really respect him." Flash commented. Peter noticed that Ned could barely hold his laughter. Peter wanted to reveal his identity then and there, but he held himself back.

"Hey, do you think Spider-Man is scared of spiders?" Betty asked from another corner of the room. A couple of students presented their theories, and Peter tried to keep his cool. The truth was, yes and no. Regular spiders, they were just harmless creatures. Large spiders on the other hand, like the ones in Australia, they were creepy as fuck.

The evening turned to night and soon everyone was asleep, except for Peter. He could almost never sleep, and he didn't even dare to try in a room full of people. Nightmares and panic attacks happened way too often, and he couldn't risk having one or both with his classmates present. Instead of sleeping, he snuck into the living room and turned on the TV. Finding nothing interesting to watch, he hacked into the TV and connected it to the Stark Server, where he could watch any show or movie that ever existed. He watched a few Star Wars movies, until at 4 am, when he got a call from Tony.

"Hey, dad, what's up?" Peter began, as he paused his movie.

"Nothing, Pete. Just calling to see if you're okay." Tony said.

"Oh, okay. Yeah, I'm good. I'm watching Star Wars, waiting for everyone to wake up." Peter said, fiddling with his fingers.

"You didn't sleep?" Tony asked concernedly.
