Angel's POV

We went back into his basement and sat on the couch. Leon was staring at me, I guess waiting for the story.

 I sighed.

"Alright, I met him when I was in seventh grade and he was in eighth. We both were in the principals office-"

 "Figures." Leon said.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Anyway, we got to know each other until I was called in there and sent home. After all that we became real cool and would hang to together, skip school yada yada yada. He taught me a lot of stuff that I didn't know about New York. You know everybody tried to keep me sheltered even Jay. He taught me how to smoke and we really liked each other and we liked to cause havoc. Long story short I gave up my virginity to that nigga and now I can't stand his ass." I said.

I looked at Leon and he was just looking at me. He wanted to know, dammit, I'm not perfect, I was stupid.

"So your not a virgin?" He asked. "How old was you?"

"Is that all your ass heard?" I asked.

"I'm just shocked." He said. "So you taking the blame, all that make sense now."

"Yeah, I know it was dumb but that was then." I said.

Leon nodded his head and sat back. I did as well. I took out my phone and I had missed calls for days.

"Yo, look at this." I said.

"That's your ass." He said laughing.

 "Not necessarily." I said.

 I called my mom back.

"Angel! Where the hell are you?!" She yelled.

"I'm at Leon's, remember the movie night." I said.

"I called that house and nobody answered the phone." She said.

 "We went somewhere." I said.

"Where did you go?" She asked.

"To a party, it wasn't bad though." I said.

"Bring your behind home." She said.

"Ma, it's already two in the morning." I said.

"Either you get here or I come get you and if I have to leave the house-"

"Okay, I'm coming. I'll walk with Leon." I said.

All I heard was a dial tone. I looked at Leon.

 "She mad?" He asked.

 "Walk me home?" I said.

"You better be lucky you don't live far." He said standing.

We left his house and walked to mine.

"You know you could've just told her we fell asleep." He said as we walked.

"Yeah, but what's the point of getting caught in a lie." I said. "I just wanted to have some fun with my best friend before he left."

"Yeah, I hope she buys that." He said laughing.

He walked me up to the door and I used my key to get in and what do you know. Standing right they’re looking like she wanted to strangle me.

 "Hi, Ms. Knowles." Leon said.

 "Goodnight, Leon." She said.

I turned to close the door. I looked back at my mom and didn't know what to do. I was just awkwardly standing there.
