Orion had brought us to the Fracture in hopes that the elusive Elara Divine could give us answers to this supposed Prophecy we are apart of. "Is she even here?" I ask, as we stand in a circle around a table.
"Is who even here, dear? Is there someone else we are waiting on?" I hear a voice reply but for the life of me I can't pinpoint where it is coming from. I continue looking but stop when I feel someone breathing down my neck.
"Oh? Were you waiting for me, Renme?" She pauses then adds, "I hate to keep my guests waiting..." into my ear. She whispers with this humor in her voice before giggling and disappearing.
"Look Elara, we need your help. We've been told we are apart of some kind of prophecy and we want to know why." Rion states impatiently.
"Well if that's what you need then you know what to do. You know what my price is." She states, all playfulness vanishing from her voice.
A small dagger with runes carved into the hilt appears in the middle of the circle along with a bowl. Orion grabs the knife first and cuts the palm of her hand letting it bleed into the bowl before handing the knife over to Taesen. "Do exactly what I did," is all the instruction she gives before she begins to heal her hand with a purple glow.I take the knife from her and do the same exact thing before handing the knife over to Terra and she proceeds to do the same thing, I heal my hand with a black glow, Terra's was green, Taesen's was yellow and Cat's red.
Once we had completed this somewhat ritualistic process, the bowl ignited into blue flames. In its place stood a young girl with white hair and clear eyes. She looked positively captivating. It was scary how much power could be felt radiating off of her.
No one's POV
Elara began chanting in foreign tongue, the bowl glowing a blinding blue color before fading once more, leaving a projection of sorts in its wake. In the center of the room was a "screen" with five children holding hands.
Elara then began to speak "Many Moons ago, five children were born in a small town alongside the resurrection of witchcraft. These children were the future; they were meant to guide the supernatural and human world down a path of peace. Born of the elements Space, Time, Nature, Darkness, and Chaos, they were beautiful children who came from different backgrounds and the most unlikeliest of friends. They were destined for greatness and unspeakable power but alas all great things come to an end." The image on the screen shifts to a scene showing nothing but fire and destruction.
"They were taken down by those who wanted their powers; people who should have helped to protect them but let jealousy overrun their lives. Their powers weren't passed down by lineage but left and seeked the bodies of those worthy of harboring them. You girls are now the keepers of those powers and you must do everything in your power to protect us because we won't survive another century without you." Elara than touches each of the girls foreheads causing them to glow their respective hues.
As the room is filled to the brim with different colored auras, the time around them seems to have stopped as they stand there and watch the events unfold before them. Nothing but death and destruction fills the streets. There was no hope present. Now it is up to them what happens next.
The moment is ruined as the ground begins to shake as if there is an earthquake happening. "It has begun girls. It is now your time to decide if you take up the responsibility or let the world fall to oblivion. Remember you will come across those meant to help you on your journey and those who are willing to kill you for the power you hold." Elara states before disappearing into thin air.
