"Zeref"

Natsu glared at the man in front of him, now dropping a bloodied, unconscious Gajeel on the floor, the man landing with a sickening thump. Zeref gazed back at him, sadness clear in his eyes. "Natsu.. It's me, your brother. I know you can't hear me, but at least you know who I am, that's all I ask for." Zeref lamented, a grief stricken look crossing his face. "....I'm sorry Natsu.."

Natsu made an excruciating slow walk towards his elder brother, his footsteps leaving scorch marks in the sand. His face was blank, though, his eyes held pure hatred in their fiery colours. Natsu slowly raised a hand towards Zeref when reaching his and used it to grab Zeref's face, the sound of sizzling and burning could be heard underneath.

The other's could only watch in fear and curiosity at what was happening between the two Dragneel's. Wendy had managed to snap out of it though, quickly scuttling over to Gajeel and began to heal him, Lily quickly following her. The others who were fighting with Natsu emerged from the ash to watch the scene, various burns littered all over their bodies. Happy scooted over to Lucy and hid behind her, absolutely terrified of what his parent figure had become.

Zeref just smiled.

"You can't kill me like this brother, you know you need to put in more power then that." He stated. Natsu, unable to hear his brothers words, only tightened his grip on the dark wizards head causing the amount of heat Zeref was feeling from Natsu's hand to increase exponentially. Zeref groaned slightly, losing his cool domineer, though, he still attempted to keep a strong front.

At the sound of his groan did the others snap out of their daze and spring into action. Erza and Gray, despite their wounds, quickly ran up the the Dragneel brothers and attempted to pry Natsu's hand away from Zeref's head. When they didn't succeed the guild of Tartaros joined them and with all their combined force, managed to take Natsu's iron grip away from Zeref's face. At the split second of freedom, Zeref jumped back so he could get out of the reach of the demon in front of him.

Natsu let out an inhumane roar and attempted to charge towards his brother once again, he almost succeeded, shoving his friend's and guild mates off of him before Mard Geer lifted his Master off of the ground with his vine curse and threw him back into the ash. After the group who was holding Natsu back ran after him, beginning to fight, Makarov ran up to Zeref, approaching the immortal.

"What are you doing here?!" Makarov demanded, glaring at the dark mage. Zeref, his face now healed due to his immortality, simply smiled. "I felt a large serge of a familiar power so I came here in hopes to end my life, though, that doesn't seem like it will work out well. Though, I do know how we can stop this." Zeref paused, causing Makarov to speak up. "Well? What's your plan?" the guild Master questioned.

"My plan?" Zeref paused again, but continued. "Though it is reckless and completely and utterly stupid, it is the only way." Zeref sighed. "To stop this we need to let him get to full power. If we let him do that I could seal it all in an object, like I did with the book once before."
"Why do we need to let him get to full power though?" Makarov questioned.
"It is so I can seal all of this destructiveness, not just the part of it that is on show right now. If I only seal part of it, the seal is bound to break due to the other part of the power being free. Since all of his demonic power will be sealed and it has grown more powerful, the seal wont be very strong. Though, I could create a weaker seal, that he can open and close as he wishes and it wont let his power rampant like this ever again, that it, unless the seal breaks completely." Zeref explained to Makarov.
