Knit a Haiku scarf;
link the fragments you have found;
the world gives some warmth.
Haiku are trim tools
tempting us to think or feel
and accept the world.
This plain world seems full
of them, obediently
waiting to be penned.
Even a lame line
can cool the rage of sadness,
take away the blues.
Chatter to the page,
but remember, concentrate
on vital matters.
But will any one
make a difference to life,
make the poor less poor?
Kindly shape just one,
let it make your life flourish
in an empty day.
Put a word in place
each day; mould a line a month;
soon a life seems gone.
