Chapter 1

"When I find you, and I swear I will, you'll regret ever being born mutt." Sebastian's viscous words echoed through my head. I tried not to remember my past so I shook my head clear of any emotion and got out of bed. I dressed in a pair of skinny jeans and a hoodie I stole from Vince. I went to my bathroom to freshen up before I headed off to school.

"Sup." Trixie greeted meeting me downstairs to wait for Court, my new Alfa, to take us to school. "Hey." I smiled seeing that Court was descending the stairs followed by our new pack member Vince. Court pulled me into a tight hug and kissed me sweetly. "Aww never was there ever a more adorable couple." Trixie cooed "Never was there ever a more beautiful girl." Court complimented.

I blushed at his words and kissed him softly. "Are we going to stand here or can we please go to school?" Vince choked on his own words. "I hate watching you two as much as I hate school." he grumbled opening the door for all of us.

Court drove us in his new car I may have wrecked his other car while learning how to drive. "Have a great day at school!" Court said when he pulled into a parking space in front of the school. I forced a smile and said goodbye before exiting the car. "Oh come on." Trixie took my hand and dragged me into the school, we are two hours late.

"Miss Beta, and Miss Trixie.." Our third block teacher glared down at our passes in his hand. Thank the stars the office assistant owes me a favor. "I would say take your seats but 'sadly' you no longer have desks." he trailed his eyes towards our now occupied seats. My seat was now being warmed by a male I've never met but I could tell he is a werewolf and so is the girl in Trixie's seat. I shrugged and turned my vision back to Mr. Lee "Too bad. I'll just have to text Court and have him come back to pick us up, I wonder how mad he'll be?" I smirked as my teacher fumbled for words. "I'll have someone bring you two desks." he grumbled. I do feel bad that I used my Alfa boyfriend against my rude werewolf teacher but 'sadly' I don't care. "Thanks so much." I smiled.

"It's your turn to write today's notes." I whispered to Trixie when we were seated. We have this cycle were some days I write the notes for the class and the next day she does and then the night before the test we have a study party in my room. "Okay but try not to snore too loud and get in trouble..again." She chuckled.

"I make no promises." I replied putting on my head phones and flipped my hood over my head. Aluna George you know you like it (DJ Snake) began to play..I love pandora! I let myself relax and put my head on my arms to take a brief nap.

** "Look honey that's your daddy." my mommy showed me a man playing with his daughter through the glass of his front door "I need you to be a good girl for him. Can you do that?" She asked squatting down to my level. I took my hand from hers to hold out my pinky "I promise I'll be good." I smiled when she wrapped her pinky around mine "I know you will sweetie." she kissed my cheek before ringing the doorbell. She looked down at me with tear-filled green eyes "I love you so much." she whispered. I wrapped my fingers with hers once more and leaned into her leg "I love you more." I replied. I jumped back when the door was yanked open and the man that mommy just said was my daddy stood in front of me. "Is she ready?" His deep voice asked my mommy she nodded handing him my princess suitcase I got for Christmas. "Alright sweetheart remember what I told you okay." she bent down and kissed me before pulling me into a tight hug "Mommy has to go now but I love you please remember that." I wrapped my arms around her neck "It's cold out she'll catch a cold Malory." the man said taking me into his arms. I struggled to get back to my mommy's warm arms. "No. She is gone look honey she is gone." His words hit me like bullets. My mommy had left me with him she was gone and I'd never see her again. "Mommy?" I whimpered into the night just before he closed the door. **

I opened my eyes and found a pair of hazel eyes staring back at me. The guy that stole my seat was looking back at me. I shrugged it off my music was probably loud or I might have been snoring. I turned away and faced the wall not wanting to fall back asleep. "The lesson is done." Trixie shook my shoulder a few minutes later. My phone buzzed in my pocket, I read the text message from Court.
