Chp.1 Living with a nightmare

Jay's POV
We caught Lloyd.

Now he can't hurt anyone anymore. No more serpentine at his will. He's all alone! For causing us all this trouble! I really wanna hurt him. But he's just a kid, and Sensei's nephew.. I can't touch him without Sensei's approval.

We watched him read Lloyd a bedtime story. I was filled with rage. Not only do we don't know the riddle,  we have to live with this nightmare!

Sensei walked out. "Why are you four not training? Did you find the answer to the riddle? "

We sadly looked to each other "No sensei... we don't know the best way to defeat your enemy... " Kai said.

"It is... to make them your friend... " Sensei said walking away "Ooohh. How could we be so stupid?! " I thought

The others walked away to our room. I looked back to Lloyd. I went up to his sleeping body.

I was mad. Mad that this little demon should be punished! BUT HE'S NOT! HE'S ONLY BEING READ A BED TIME STORY!

I was literally about to kick him. Til I heard him say something in his sleep.

I looked closer. He was crying... He was mumbling in his sleep "P-please..... i-im sorry... "

He cried harder. "I-im not a m-monster..... i-i-i.... "

I felt bad. The kid wanted to apologize, he wanted to start over...

I put my foot down. I looked to him. He wiggled the blanket off.

I kneeled down, I put his blanket back on him, he smiled. And I walked to bed.

-------------The Next Day------------

I woke up and quickly changed. I wanted to do some training with my bot.

I went to the robot. But than Kai said "Jay, you shouldn't... I saw Zane trying to repair it... "

"What?! " I said as we smiled and walked away, I was attacked by the robot.

We all met in our bedroom. We were yelling at each other for every kind of reason!

Until we saw Lloyd caring all the objects he needed to do everything that happened to us.

He carried laundry soap, A controller, a wrench, and spices.

We all assumed it was Lloyd and went over to him to yell at him. "WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!  IT TOOK ME 3 DAYS TO MAKE THAT! " Cole started to yell

Lloyd was shocked and scared. He dropped the items. Except Kai was behind us.

With all of our voices yelling at him. He sat down holding his head and started to cry.

We stopped. Sensei Wu and Nya came in "What's going on! " Sensei said.

They saw Lloyd crying. Nya picked him up and hugged him.

Sensei comforted his Nephew than looked to us with anger "What did you do?! "

Me and Cole stayed silent. But Zane said "Lloyd did something to our personal items. We saw him carrying all the objects that he needed to mess our stuff up! "

Sensei looked to Lloyd. Kai had a worried look on his face and exited the room quietly.

"Did you really do that Lloyd? " "N-no! " "Than why were you carrying that stuff? " "Kai asked me to put this stuff in his closet. " Lloyd said to his uncle.

Sensei was clearly mad. Almost to hatred. He yelled for Kai.. The poor kid was crying hard and hugged Nya tight.

Sensei left to go find Kai. Nya carried Lloyd to the dining room to try to get him something to calm down. Than we apologized to each other. Than went to find Lloyd to apologize to him.

We opened the dining room door to find Lloyd hugging his knees refusing to eat. Nya tried to calm him down. He had his hood up.

We went to Lloyd "Lloyd... we- we're sorry... we didn't know... "

Lloyd looked to us, removes his hoodie. And smiles.

We smiled back as I gave Lloyd a hug.

We left to go find Kai and Sensei.

We heard yelling in Sensei's room "AND FRAMING THE KID BENEFITS YOU HOW?! YOU ARE A NINJA! YOU SHOULD BE MORE RESPECTFUL! ESPECIALLY TO A KID! "

We peaked through the window. We saw Kai standing there sadly and Sensei yelling at him. We've never seen him so angry.. It was actually scary..

"Go apologize to Lloyd than start your training early. And no video games for the rest of the week for you! " Kai nodded and we scattered before he could notice us.

Lloyd talked with Nya as he finally decided to eat something. The kid looked skinny to be honest when we first met him...

He ate some soup Nya made him. Nya was talking to him about his past and her brother.

Lloyd swallowed, replied. Than went back to eating.

Zane and Cole went to play some video games against each other. I might as well fix the training bot that Kai messed up.

I was fixing the wiring. When I heard some yelling. I went to the kitchen door and overheard on Kai and Nya's conversation.

"The kid is sorry for his actions! I talked with him. He had a rough past! He hadn't eaten in months you know that right?! " She snapped at Kai. "I was trying to prove that the kid isn't sorry, he can't get away from his evil habits. If I don't show them how bad he is, he might kill us all in our sleep! "

They're yelling could have gone on for hours. Til I heard yawning. I looked behind me, Lloyd seemed to be looking for someone.

He yawned, the kid was exhausted. He got on his knees. And layed down. He went to sleep on the floor.

I picked the kid up and put him in his bed. The kid wasn't that bad. I realised the nightmare we were living with wasn't Lloyd. But Kai...
