Diseases And Blood

Jay's POV

After Lloyd took the medicine I picked him up. I carried him to his room as he sneezed and coughed.

I tucked him in his bed. "Thank you Jay... " He said weak. "No problem... "

Kai walked in "Hey Jay, hey Lloyd. " "Kai, Lloyd is sick. It's important he gets some silence so he can rest.. "

"Ah okay... " Kai said and he left. Coming from him that's surprising "Hey Kid? "

"Yeah? "  "Promise me one thing. "   "What is it? "  "Please... never change that sweet personality you have... " I begged Lloyd

"Okay Jay... " He said, I than pulled him into a hug.

But he just sneezed on me "Ew... excuse me, I have to wash this off before I get sick as well.. " I laughed as I heard Lloyd giggling to

As I washed off the mucus, I heard everybody running around. Scared.

I stopped the shower, put my clothes on, and walked outside to be greeted by Kai that was about to run past me but I stopped him

"Kai what's wrong?! " "LLOYD THREW UP! " He said. Okay makes sense, but why is everyone freaking out?

"Okay, kids throw up. What's the big deal? " I ask "HE THREW UP BLOOD! " Kai screamed before running past me

Blood? BLOOD?! OKAY NOW THAT'S A PROBLEM! I rush to where the kid is.

Blood all over his uniform and face. Zane tried caring for him but the poor boy kept throwing up.

"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! NYA GET US TO THE HOSPITAL! " I yell as I heard Nya coming in

"Don't worry Lloyd, we'll get you to the hospital in no time... " I comfort the kid.

Lloyd moaned. He was crying, I could tell "Calm down Lloyd.... "

His cries turned to whimpers.

Nya got us to the hospital. Lloyd still spitting up. Sensei Wu was out doing something.

We rushed inside and gave him to the doctor.

He was worked on. Or that's what we were told. A nurse came out, she had black hair and tan skin. She had her hair in twin drills.

"I'm sorry but he's gonna need to stay here for a week or two... " She said holding her clipboard. "B-but we need to train him! " Cole said.

"No more training til he's fully recovered. Luckily he is fine, the blood was just a cut in his throat. But we will need to stitch that up to prevent blood loss. And it will take some time. " She said.

"Okay... but can we visit him? " "You can visit him from 11 am to 3 pm. " She replied to Zane's question

We nod as we leave the hospital. "We should probably clean up the blood before Sensei gets back. " I said rushing towards the ladder.

We climb up and start to mop up the blood as the bounty flies to where it originally was before we left for the hospital.

Zane had the bucket and held it for me and Kai as we cleaned the blood on the floor and the wall. My question is how did blood get on the wall?

Cole washed Lloyd's, sheets, pillow, blanket, and the couch cousins. Anything that had blood on it.

Sensei got back as we put away our cleaning supplies "Hello! I'm home! "

"Sensei! " We said in unison. "I don't see my nephew, where is he? "

"Sensei he's.... he's in the hospital... " Zane said.

"W-WHA WHAT HAPPENED?! " Sensei asked with a worried expression.

"Somehow his throat was cut from the inside and it caused him to throw up blood. " I said.

"We can visit him tomorrow, tonight we'll just hope they can patch up the cut so he doesn't throw up anymore blood. " Cole said.

We nod as we walked to our rooms. As I passed Lloyd's room, I went inside. I knelt down, and saw something..

Oh my gosh... Nya made him a little teddy bear THAT'S SO CUTE!

Better get this to him, tomorrow. I picked it up and washed the blood off. I put it back and rushed to my room "Where have you been? " Kai asked playing on his phone.

"No where... " I reply as I climb the ladder of me and Zane's bed and go to sleep.

I woke up. It was 10:57 I can give Lloyd his toy. I got up and got dressed. I walked to the kitchen, just ate a piece of bread that was suppose to be toasted.

I went to Lloyd's room, grabbed his bear and sped off to the hospital on my jet.

I landed and rushed in "Lloyd Garmadon. " I tell the receptionist. She looks through the list.

"Ah yes, Lloyd Garmadon. Right this way. " She said getting up and leading me down the hallway and up the stairs.

We took a left to room 103. "Lloyd! " I said. I give the boy a hug before saying "I have a surprise for you! "

"What is it? " He asks. I show him his bear as he was surprised all right. He started to cry tears of joy "Thank you so much Jay. " He didn't have excitement in his voice but I'm guessing the doctor told him not to yell or he could open the cut more.

I handed it to him as he squeezed it tight. He was so thankful. I smiled warmly as I heard the others come in

"YOU JUST HAD TO LEAVE WITHOUT US JAY!" Cole snapped. I just rolled my eyes as Sensei went up to the bed "Hello Lloyd... "

Lloyd smiled to Sensei Wu. We stayed there for about 3 hours. Til a nurse walked in "I'm sorry but we need to work on that cut of his. " Even thou it was 2 pm.

We nodded as we waved and said goodbye to Lloyd. We left and was ready to go back in a day.

"The bridge has been beeping for hours... There was a robbery.. oops... " Nya said.

"Okay tomorrow, we need to do something... Half of us stay here the other half can visit Lloyd. " Cole suggested.

"But how do we decide who goes where? " I said as Zane replies "We can roll dice. We each choose a number and the 2 people that it lands on goes to the hospital, the others stay here. Sensei can go anywhere he wants. "

"Dibs on 6! " I heard Kai yell. "I can be 4." Nya said. "I'll be 2! " Cole said. "I guess I'll be 5." "And I'm 1." Zane says.

Zane grabs a dice from a board game. He threw it and it landed on 4 "YES! " Nya said.

He threw it again... I was begging for it to land on me. It landed on 6..  "DANG IT! " Cole yelled pounding against the floor. Making the dice land on 5 "Yes! "

"That's not fair it was originally on me! " "A bet is a bet. " Nya smirked.

Zane shrugged "She's right. " Kai groaned before face planting unto the couch

I smiled and gave Nya a 'thank you' look. She nodded and left.

I was excited. I just grabbed a plate full of dinner ate it and sped off to play video games to pass the time.
