We ran and shoved our things into the trunk of the Ford Anglia just as we realized how we could catch up with everyone fast enough. Bolting to the passenger seat before Harry, I giggled and stuck my tongue out at him jokingly. He rolled his eyes with a smile, hopping into the backseat with the owls while Ron got to the driver's side.

I roll my window down, poking my head out the window as we ascend. I look down and spot couple of muggles looking up at the flying car. I rush to lightly hit Ron's arm and gesture out the window, "Ron, you know most muggles aren't accustomed to seeing a flying car, right?"

His eyes widen a bit, stammering as he fumbled with the invisibility on the dashboard, "Oh-oh, right!" The car jerks as the cloak engulfs it, the muggles down below staring aimlessly up at the sky absolutely bewildered.

On the drive, we flew over many mountains and valleys, passing through clouds, and moving calmly above the trees. The boys talk endlessly about nothing as I stare out the window at the scenery, occasionally putting in my two cents to their conversation before the car jerks again, the blue color revealing itself again.

Panicking, Ron looks at the hood of the car, reaching and hitting the invisibility switch over and over again to no avail. "Oh no.. The invisibility booster must be faulty!" Ron's grip tightens on the wheel before Harry leans over the seat between us, a hand on Ron's shoulder, "If it doesn't work, then we need to go lower. We have to find that train."

"Alright," Ron pulls the car's stick shift and turns the wheel, pulling the car down onto a long train track. "Now, we've just got to catch up with the train!" I cheer, leaning forwards towards the windshield, squinting to try and spot the train.

Ron shrugs, saying, "We can't be far behind," Suddenly, we hear the train's whistle in the distance, all of us perking up. Harry leans forward again, "D'you hear that?" Ron smiles, exclaiming, "We must be getting close!"

Harry puts a hand out, cautiously, "Hold on.." I look over at him, confused, before realizing what he's insinuating. The three of us have matching expressions, concern plastered all over our faces as we turn around, the Hogwarts Express hot on our tail.

We all break into screams as Ron flings the car over the side of the tracks. As he does, the car staggers, swaying wildly as we drive under the bridge and back up, side by side with the train. The car flips over, our screams relentless as we all try to steady ourselves. I brace one hand on the ceiling and the other on the door, trying to hold myself down as Ron jolts the car around in an attempt to regain stability.

Harry gets flung backwards, catching Hedwig's cage before she goes flying into the door as the car spins again. My body gets thrown into the passenger door, knocking it open thousands of feet above the ground. Clutching the handle before I go tumbling into the forest below, I scream again, feeling the wind knock me into the door roughly. Ron screams after me, yelling, "Y/N! HOLD ON!"

I keep my grip tight on the handle before yelling back up, "I'm trying!"  I feel one of my hands begin to slip, losing the hold I have on the handle, leaving me with one hand on the car.

"Harry, take the wheel!" Ron yells back at Harry, sliding across the front seat to mine, reaching out to me. Harry jumps to catch the wheel, climbing over the backseat as he twists it in an effort to steady the car while Ron sticks out an arm to me.

I reach up, stretching to grab Ron's hand, missing it a few times before yelling up desperately, "Ron, I can't reach!" He leans over further, keeping a hand on the frame of the car to keep himself inside, telling me, "Just reach a little more, c'mon!"

With the extra lean, I reach and grab his hand firmly and he pulls, tugging me back into the car as Harry manages to straighten it out. With that, the momentum sends my flying onto Ron's lap, our faces mere centimeters apart. My eyes widen as his face blooms pink and I smile, trying to hold back a laugh as I toss my arms around his shoulders in a tight hug, saying, "Merlin's beard, Ron, you saved me!"
