"So you're telling me that the Chase Anders knows about our place now."

"Yeah, I kinda think that's what she's been going on about for so long, Z." Andrew replies with an unamused look.

After a ten minute conference call last night (where I had given them a brief summary of what exactly had happened) they decided to come over next morning.

Andrew got here first so I told him everything that had happened. He seemed surprised that Chase even spoke to me.

See, told you. Only elite people get the privilege of talking to him.

Zoe had made it home a little after I was done explaining the whole thing and now she was trying to make sense of the whole situation.

"Stop being a smartass--" Zoe says looking at Drew and then shifts her gaze to me continuing "So you're telling me Chase Andrews, the hot yet broody guy from school basically knows where our place is. Also, to keep it a secret for the rest of the year you're going to have to do chores for him? Really?."

"Yes. In short yes." I reply nodding.

"And we're going to the mall with him for no apparent reason?" She asks her face contorted in a confused manner.

Same, Zoey. Same.

"Mhmm." I reply not sure where exactly she's taking this.

"How did so many things take place over night?" Andrew thinks out loud.

"I have no idea." I say as I turn to wards Zoey and ask "anyway are you in for the mall plan, Zoey?"

"Window shopping, food and hot guys? Hellz yeah." She replies in high pitched falsetto voice.

At around 11 we hear the loud honking of a car. Andrew peeped through my window to confirm who it was. When he signals it's them, we rush down the stairs, Zoe almost slipping due to her weird excitement.

And I thought I was clumsy.

When we reach the car, we see that Chase is standing outside the car, his lean body leaning against the door. He was wearing a deep blue shirt that was rolled up to his elbow and a pair of worn out jeans. His hair seemed seemed unruly-- almost as if he ran his hands through them quite a few times.

Hearing the sound of us walking towards the car, he looks up. His face expression remains bored.

"How long does it take for you to get out of your house?" He questions rolling his eyes.

We didn't take more than two minutes. What an impatient cow.

I raise my eyebrow at him but before I could comment, Andrew does a weird handshake thing with him--  but there was something awkward about it. It was probably because Andrew wasn't exactly friends with Chase. They were merely acquaintances who happened to be friends with people from the same circle.

We then get in the car, whose back seat could only accommodate three people. Hence, Zoey decided to sit on Andrews lap (as she is the lightest). It was uncomfortable to say the least. My side was pressed against Chase's side and Zoe was partially seated on my lap.

After somehow adjusting with the conditions Chase introduced us to Alex and the girl he was apparently trying to woo-- Jessica.

Is this a date or something?

Who goes on a date with a girl with their backseat filled with people accompanying them. To say it was awkward would be an absolute understatement. We tried making small talk but eventually we ran out of things to talk about.
