#16 - you're keeping a secret

Y/N panicked even after the lunch hangout she had. She made sure to leave quickly after discovering that Jisoo and Jennie knew something that they weren't supposed to know.

Of course, she tried her best to convince Jisoo that Taehyung was not just used to his surroundings since he's been locked up in the house for too long.

Although she couldn't deny the fact that Taehyung lived with her, she was able to make sure that Jisoo knew that nothing was going on between the two.

"You're home already!" Taehyung exclaimed as he rushed to the couch and hugged Y/N's arm, his head leaning on her arm.

She seemed unbothered for a while then suddenly flinched, making Taehyung surprised. "Y/N?"

She stared at the handsome man hugging her arm for a while then looked at the kitchen.

"I heard my phone," Y/N mumbled, grabbing her purse and digging into it to find her precious cellphone.

Taehyung watched every movement of hers and laughed at her searching for her cellphone.

"Why're you laughing?" Y/N asked, finally getting hold of the phone.

"Nothing, you just look like a mole digging into the ground." Taehyung said, his box smile still on his face.

Y/N tried to ignore the fact that she had felt her cheeks go hot after that comment. She didn't understand why her cheeks would suddenly start going like that.

Instead, she kept herself busy with checking out the reason why her phone had made a noise.

Jerkface
"Y/N, I'll be at your house in a few minutes. We need to talk."

Y/N was confused by the name, making herself check the number that had messaged her.

She knew this number too well. She had called this number up several times before that incident.

She was debating whether she should reply or not. She ended up messaging this back:

Y/N
"Sure."

Taehyung was also reading the message that 'Jerkface' sent and he wondered if it was Jungkook.

"Is that Jungkook?"

Y/N looked up from her phone and realized that she hadn't been thinking about him like she used to.

She looked at Taehyung. "Yes, he's going to...come over here and talk."

He looked at Y/N for a while then shook his head. "I don't think you should've agreed to this in the first place. He hurt you."

Y/N gave him a small smile. "I jumped to conclusions that he hurt me. What if he didn't mean it?"

Taehyung smiled painfully. He didn't like Y/N getting hurt by Jungkook. He decided not to say anything after.

They were silent for a moment when Jimin came down the stairs. "Oh, Y/N, you're home."

Y/N smiled at her brother. Jimin was pouring coffee into his mug when he realized how quiet the two were.

"Are you both in trouble?" Jimin asked, an eyebrow raised.

Y/N gave a chuckle then replied, "No, but Jungkook is coming here."

Jimin furrowed his eyebrows. "You're crazy," he mumbled.

But he was too loud for Y/N to not hear. She sighed then looked down at her feet. "I don't feel anything for him...anymore."

Taehyung's eyes diverted from the floor to Y/N. He prevented himself from asking the questions in his mind. Instead he said, "But Jungkook is your crush."
