It's been a couple days since the little argument between Harry and Kora. Harry is constantly trying to talk to her but Kora keeps ignoring him. I have no clue why because it was just some stupid, petty argument that was meant as a silly joke.
"Kora when are you going to stop ignoring Harry?" I ask her. Right now were at school, Kora is my partner in chemistry.
"Never." She responds as she shakes the bottle that has vinegar and baking soda in it.
"Why? It was just a joke, he was just messing around with you like we always do to each other. So why are you holding a grudge?" I ask.
"It was stupid, and irrelevant, he should have never said anything like that." Kora says as she adds a drop of water to the mixture.
"Your right, it was stupid and irrelevant, thats why you shouldn't be mad at him for something so... whats the word?.... childish?!" I exclaim.
She sighs. "Maybe your right, but I'm really sensitive to inappropriate comments like that and you know this!" Kora says.
"No your not. And even if you were, than why would you respond with an inappropriate comment back?" I question.
"Yeah I'm not sensitive to that. I honestly don't know why I'm mad. It's just when he said that it kinda... I don't know..... set me off?" She says.
"Maybe you like Harry...." I say, I look over at her to see her blushing. "Wait... you like Harry???"
She rubs the back of her neck. "Kinda, I've liked him for a couple of years now. And before you moved here we dated for like a week but it was awkward and we thought we were better off as friends. But now my liking to him has gown...... ALOT." She says, looking at me.
"Aww. I will bring you two together if your up for it?" I say.
"Of course!" She exclaims.
I squeal.
"SHHHH!" The teachers says to us.
"Sorry." Me and Kora say in unison.
"So, are you still mad?" I ask.
She looks over at me. I laugh. "Haha, I'm just kidding, I know you aren't."
"I love you Carly, your the best..... second best." She says, hugging me.
I pull away. "Wait, whose the first..... oh, Harry." I say, rolling my eyes.
She nods sheepishly as her cheeks begin to blush again.
"This is soooooooo cuteeeeeee!" I squeal.
"Ladies!" The teacher exclaims.
"Sorry!" We say in unison, again. We than turn to look at each other and laugh.
"You better make this work." Kora says.
"I will, I promise." I say, putting my hand out. She looks down at it, completating. She than looks up at me, smiles, and shake my hand.
"Okay, deal." She says.
"Deal."
We swear again as we hug, jumping up and down.
"Office ladies now!" The teacher yells.
We groan as we take off our aprons and walk out the room to the office.
"I'm bumfuzzled, how am I going to bring you two together?" I ask.
She shrugs. "I have no clue, it's all on you." She responds.
