So, I am in class, for the first time and I am wearing my Captain Underpants t-shirt and a pair of jeggings and don't have the slightest idea what are we supposed to do or do. I stare at the lineless book that our teacher, Mrs. Martinez gave me. With the pen, and drawing pencils.
"Alana, what are we 'spose to do?" I whispered to her.
Katie rolled her eyes. "You're supposed to design an outfit in that drawing book and that pencil"
"And then you're gonna pick the fabric and sew it yourself" Alana told me.
What? I can't sew or draw. I gave the girls an are-you-kidding-look and they shook their heads. Just great.
"What kinda school is this?" I asked them, incrediously.
Scarlett look at me "Umm, the year of 2024? Which sucks"
"Last year was worst.... the stupid competition we lost, super embarassing!" Cassie said.
"Lets not think about it, shall we?" I asked them. Not knowing how bad last year was.
"Easy for you to say, you were'nt there" Katie mumbled.
I pick up my drawing pencil and open the first page of the drawing book. Just great.
I started sketching a woman's body and then the dress. I clearly have no idea what am I doing but it looks kind of good for a first timer.
I sketch the dress carefully, not making any mistakes. So far, so good. No mistakes.
After a few minuites later, I am done. And it look pretty great. I feel really proud for myself. Not long of feeling really proud of myself a pair of perfectly manicured fingers snatched my book out of my own hands.
"Holy shit, what the hell is that? It's fugly!" Carissa Von De Bleiken, the bitch, appeard out of nowhere in front of me with my drawing.
Everyone turns to look at me- and then of course, the cold hearted ice-princess.
"What's your problem?" I sked her, annoyingly.
She sneered and give me an evil look "What do you mean what's my problem? I came her to compliment ablout how ugly is your drawing"
"Okay girls, be quite! Miss Von De Bleiken, go to your seat" Mrs. Martinez clamed the class down. Carissa went back to her seat after giving me an evil eye and Mrs Martinez took my book from Carissa's perfectly manicured fingers.
"Miss Woods, are you having any trouble?" the teacher asked me nicely.
I shook my head.
"Mrs Martinez, you should take a look at her drawing, it's hilarious!" Carissa laughed, irritatingly.
When Mrs. Martinez looked at my drawing, I expect her to say 'Why, what a beautiful dress you've created' but no, she just laugh.
"What's so funny?" I asked the teacher. Teacher's supposed to teach not laugh at students.
"Miss Woods can you even draw? When was the last time you even drawn?" Mrs. martinez asked me super nice.
"No, I can't draw and I havent draw since....I dont know, maybe it was in elementary school?" I said. Everyone in the class laughed.
Who do you think I am? A joker? That's so childish laughing at someone who can't actually draw.
Mrs Martinez showed the whole class my art work and the whole class were choking and laughing to death. Laughing at me yesterday was'nt enough, huh?
"Hah! I guess kindergartener can draw better that you!" Carissa's friend, Francessa exclaimed
Even my own friends were laughing at me. Then, I look at thier drawing. It's comepeletly diffrent than mine. Everyone's drawing are like a real thing. Like a real dress with a real people. And mine's like, totally, childish. A curvy stickman in a 5 year old dress.
