Chapter 7

The movie was nice,but due to it being three hours long it was night time when we got out "your walking home, Ken?" Maku asked "nah I'll ride with you, my legs hurt from todays battle" she nodded putting on her helmet and jumping onto her bike, "well hop on prickly,that raise the question, why do you have quills instead of cacti needles?" I hopped on, "I have no idea, to be honest I'm happy being a porcupine, I guess" she started pedaling out of the parking lot, "some people must have gotten mad for me putting my bike where a car belongs" she giggled "true, I would get mad also, if I had a car" we passed U.A on the way home, "I'm shocked I made it in, to be honest I thought I would fail"  I looked at her "I believed in you, your quirk is pretty cool" her face turned red, she then swerved the bike, I activated my quirk and stuck onto a wall my quills going through it, "Don't know what that was for but, bye maku" she rode away, face red as a tomato, well time to head inside,

"So you mean to tell me, she launched you off the bike, and it made you crash into the wall, and because of that we gotta pay for repairs?" I nodded at my fathers statement "and she zoomed off, because she was sick?" I nodded again "well, that's coming out of your savings" I groaned in frustration "I need that money for "the repairs of my hero suit!" My dad glared at me "do you pay bills?"  "You're pulling that card again?"  "Good point" he then stood up and left, that was anticipating, i scurried to my room and closed the door, "mono, good to see you" I turned around aiming my arm at the unknown person, "Alizae, how the hell did you get in my house"  "it was easy, I just said I'm friends with you and they giggled and let me in, it's kinda strange how they're the opposite personality as you"  "cut to the chase Alizae-" I was cut off when my room door crashed open

"Sorry to interrupt but, mono dinner is ready" I stood up and left the room. When I sat at the table I noticed a fourth plate, "mom, why do they have a fourth plate," she smiled "for Alizae, did I say her name right?"  "Yes you did" Alizae said coming down the stairs "thank you for the food" she said INNOCENTLY. After dinner I went back up stairs Alizae following me she sat on MY beanbag, I closed the door and sat on my bed, "ok did you just come here to watch me suffer from embarrassment?" She shook her head "no, just wanted to know..why did you let me win¿?" I looked at her, she came all the way here, watched me suffer and then ask me this "I didn't deserve to win that battle" I exclaimed "why"  again with the questions "I don't know what I did but I snapped, therefore to punish myself I let you win"  she nodded, I expected her to leave but instead she had other plans "I was wondering if you wanted a rematch?" I shook my head "me kiri, and maku are going celebrate my brothers birthday"  she spit out her tea that I have no idea came from "y-you have a brother"  I nodded "yeah he died a few years back due to a villain attack... I guess that's how I became this way"

"SO ALL THIS TIME YOU COULD HAVE BEEN HAPPY? I'm sorry to say this but you have to let things go" I took off my glasses "i know but, he had a huge impact on my life, when he died it was like my arm got blown off, he had such a strong quirk too, if he mastered it-" I didn't want to finish the sentence, he was a little too strong for his own good, "what was it"  I looked up "what?"  "What was it"  "I don't know, but I know he could create a island if he wanted too, he could control anything on the earth, it's crazy" she nodded, that night we continued to talk until my mom came in "Ken, it's 2:00 in the morning, go to bed," I nodded "cya tomorrow" she nodded and left the house, "finally" I groaned I jumped on my bed preparing to go to sleep screw undressing I'm tired, but maku has other plans

My window slid open "you promised me you would buy me a toy" still can't believe I promised that "it's two o'clock, go to sleep" she wouldn't budge and sat on my beanbag "why is it always the beanbag?!" She looked at my confused "nothing, just go" she shook her head, "FINE" I turned around and went to bed, but guess what, I then heard kiri climb in my window "hey ken, kennnnnn, KEN, Kenny, Keeeeeeeeen, Kenny boi, Kenny Don, miniseries, mutant, Ken" I shot a quill at him and dozed off.

Of course as always I woke up grabbing my glasses, I checked my phone, six in the morning only four hours of sleep, great, well since I'm up I might as well make breakfast- "finally your awake, kiri he's awake" kiri shot up "KEN, ITS IMPORTANT" I put my hand over his mouth "do you want to eat" he nodded furiously "you can cook?" I nodded "let's go", on cue they scattered outside, since my friends are here I decided to try a new dish "maku, what should I wear?" She seemed rather flushed at this statement "hurry I don't have all day" she stood up and went to the pantry, "t-the pink one"

"W-what?...."

....

"But why!"

Once I put it in I started to cook, I could hear kiri muffle a laugh every time I turned around, i finally got finished in twenty minutes, "smells good, it's cooked good, what is it?" I mentally faced palmed, "ITS A GOOD EGG OMLET YOU IDIOT!" maku said slapping kiri across the head, "it's just mom never cooked this at home!" Again I mentally face palmed, they started eating while I made something else for myself, I put a pineapple in the blender with some ice and some cream and blended it, pineapple smoothie, now the sugar, while I was making it I realized kiri wanted to tell me something, I poured my smoothie in a cup and turned around "so what you wanted to tell me" kiri choked on his food, "I- um- well you see...." I sipped my drink "your brother is still alive..." I dropped my cup and all hell broke lose.
