the next day everybody woke up and went out for breakfast. over the past two days everybody got closer with each other than they were before since not everyone hanged out at the same time and everyone was busy with something. press tour for Stranger Things Season 3 was coming so they had to make the best out of that three days.

some people left early because they had families to go home to. but at the end everyone was happy they went since they made a lot of new memories they could look back on and reminisce on the good times.

having the press tour nearer meant y/n wouldn't see her boyfriend for at least 2 weeks. she lived at California so it was easy for y/n to go to Santa Monica for the premiere, but still 2 weeks is two weeks. they didn't like being separated from each other but it worked well for y/n because she caught up on her job and made some cold hard cash.

even though y/n was busy with work she was bored every minute of every hour every day. there was nothing entertaining to watch or do, so she found herself hanging out with lilia a lot more often since paige and her didn't have the same work schedule and sadie also had press.

it was actually fun, she got to have a lot nostalgic moments with lilia, having them growing up together, made it easier to get nostalgic. she got to watch her favorite movies growing up thanks to netflix adding Princess and the Frog and watching Spongebob SquarePants.

she always loved princess tiana, she loved how delicious gumbo looked and the beignets that she made for the ball. she loved how tiana satisfyingly cut up the mushrooms to teach naveen how to chop off vegetables. she loved how strong and independent tiana was. she loved every moment of it. she remembered how she would watch it all the time with her sister while their mom was at work. she remembered how she would put it on dvd right after she got home from school.

having a nostalgic summer for y/n made it hard for her not to think about her mother, how she was able to provide for her family while at the same time making it seem like providing for her family was a privilege and not a responsibility as a parent to do so.

some days y/n slept over at lilias whenever she was off on the weekends. lilia's mother was nice to y/n and her family, knowing the situation of the family so she didn't mind it when the girl slept over. y/n and kate was also like daughters to lilias mom so everything was fine.

during one of the sleepovers lilia got flowers so that they could go take photoshoots since they were both really good photographers. the girls where never bored whenever they were together, they had too much memories to not be awkward around each other anymore.
