Baileys POV

I was walking down the street and saw a boy that looked like Carl.I didn't even know if it was him but yelled at him.

"CARL!"

He turned around and started running towards me I saw his sheriff badge on the hat shimmer.I ran towards him and hugged him.He grabbed my face and kissed me.I started crying of happiness.

"I didn't know if you were okay or even alive.I left Amira and Luke they didn't wanna do anything but stare at a fire.But I love you Carl and I needed you so I left."

"It's okay it's okay you have me now."

I just hugged him tight.

"Come on let's go find somewhere to stay for the night."He said.

We walked until we found a RV.

"We should just stay here and then head to terminus tomorrow."

I nodded.we both got are knifes ready.There was a walker at the door and I killed it and opened the small bathroom door to see a little girl sitting on the toilet.(not using it!)

"Hi."I said.

"Hi."She said quietly.

"What's your name?"

"Conner."

"Well Conner I'm Bailey."

"Hi Bailey I'm four."

"Well why don't we come meet my Boyfriend Carl."

She put her arms out for me to carry her.I picked her up and put her on my side.

"Hey Carl."

"Bailey help there's walker everywhere."

"Oh my god,Ok Conner take this knife and go to that big bedroom down there ok."

"Ok!"She toddled down to the bed.

I got my gun and slammed the door behind me.I started shooting down the walkers.The last one almost got Carl but I kicked over it hit a tree and started coming towards me again.I grabbed its hair and started beating it against the tree until it was dead.we both got inside and Conner jumped off the bed an ran and hugged my leg.

"Who's this?" Carl asked.

"This is Conner she was locked in the bathroom scared."

"Well me and Bailey will take good care of you."

She tugged on his shirt for him to bend down.

"Yes she is."

"What?"

"She said you were pretty."

Conner yawned.I sat down on the couch and she crawled up in my lap.

"Carl what are we gonna do about food?"

"I can go hunt like your dad taught me tomorrow,I mean we won't leave for terminus just yet it's just something to fall back on."

"Ok."

Conner was now asleep with her head on my shoulder.I stood up still holding her.

"I'm going to lay her down and go to sleep as well.Love you."

I kissed his cheek.

I walked to the bedroom laid Conner down.the went to sleep myself.
