The New Boy (a cash baker imagine)

I opened my locker and put my bag in
Cash came up to me
"hey y/n, thanks for waking me up" Cash thanked me and smiled.

"no problem" I said smiling back at him.

"let me make it up to you, like go ou-" Cash said then he was cutted by Chase, he side-hugged him making him bent down again. I laughed.
"Chase, stop iit" Cash said trying to escape from Chase's grip.

"I'm not that huge" Chase said

"you are a giant" Cash said dead serious to Chase

"ughh, let's just go to class" Chase said rolling his eyes letting go of Cash.
I laughed and we walked to class.

During mid-class. Cash was exempted because of his training. Ms. Jones asked me to carry a box of books to the library. I took it and went. The library was outside so It's hard for me to carry it for that far.
As I was walking beside the court, Cash noticed me then ran after me.

"let me carry that" Cash said and he took the books that I'm carrying and we started walking.

"where are you gonna carry this to?" Cash asked looking at me.

"the library" I said and he got surprised.

"this is heavy, why didn't you refuse?" Cash said worrying.

"I can't refuse" I said
he went silent for a bit
"I understand" He said and chuckled

We reached the library and placed the books there
"thank you so much, Cash" I said smiling

"no problem!" Cash said smiling back.
Then we walked out to the shed again

"I gotta go now" He said running away. I looked down, I gotta ask him what was he going to say when Chase cuts him.

"uhm, Ca-" but before I could say anything. Ira walked by.

"oh, Cash! I'll come by again to watch your practice" She said smiling then waving him goodbye.

"okay" Cash said putting a thumbs up.
Ira waved him goodbye and she ran beside me, when she got closer, it's like slow motion, then when she got farther, the time went normal again. I just looked at Cash simultaneously. He smiled.
-bell rings- It's lunch now
"come on now, y/n" Cash said calling for me.
I snapped out of my thoughts and went to him
We went back to class and see the others around my seat waiting for me.

Beatrice made a bet
"let's play rock,paper and scissors" Beatrice said asking us.

"that's a kid's game stooop" Payton whined.

Beatrice laughed in an evil tone "and whoever loses, will buy all our drinks at the vent machine" Beatrice said and gave a devil face. We got surprised because the vent machine is at the center of school, we have to go outside to buy a drink.
We played.
"rock, paper, scissors"
then the only different was Cash
he scratched his backhead and we laughed
"I'll have the coffee drink" Beatrice said smiling at Cash and gave him a peace sign.

"same here" Payton said raising an arm.

"milk for me" Sarah said

"cola for me" Chase said

Cash looked at me "and you?"

"I'll have anything" I said smiling

"are you sure?" Cash asked seriously. It went silent for a bit and I finally thought of something.

"I'll have the orange drink" I said smiling

"okay! off I go then." Cash said waving us goodbye.
He ran downstairs and outisde. We looked at him doing action by the window, Beatrice and the others were laughing.

"wooh, go Cash!!" Beatrice shouted from the window.
Cash looked at us and smiled.

Then Ira came to him and we all went silent
they went behind the tree making it hard for us to see what they're talking about. My heart was making a weird feeling that I can't express what, it's not that I'm jealous, am I? I just didn't move at my place, I wasn't smiling then Chase noticed.
Ira walked away from Cash smiling.

"Ira's smiling, what could they be talking about?" Beatrice asked.

"hey Cash! don't hide something from us!" Sarah shouted.

Cash went back and opened the door, he got surprised of us because we're waiting for him

"what?" He asked then chuckled giving us our drinks.

"were you getting confessed to?" Beatrice asked

"yeah" Cash answered

"what did you say?" Beatrice asked

"I said I'll respond to her after class" Cash answered

"you did it Cash! I support you!" Beatrice said smiling.

I looked down and Cash went up to me and gave me my drink.

"oh! here's the money" I grabbed the drink and was about to give the money.

"no it's fine, it's my treat since I owe you one" Cash said pushing my hand softly.

"t-thanks" I said blushing.
I took the drink and the -bell rang-

"looks like you don't have time to drink it" Cash said and chuckled.
We sat on our chair, I put the orange drink in my bag

We got an answer sheet again
Cash did a mistake and looked at his pencil case

"oh shoot I forgot my eraser" Cash whisper-screamed.
I handed him one

"thanks so much. You're such a life saver" Cash said smiling at me.
I just smiled and nod.
He finished and gave back the eraser then went outside.
I felt something in the eraser's cover
I opened it and saw a piece of paper, I read it
"should I date Ira?"
I got shocked and smiled. It was such a relief, I really like Cash. No.. I think I love him. I made up my mind and write something on a paper and wrote "NO"  I got up and ran after his locker and put in the paper on his shoes.
I catch my breath for a sec then went back to the room.

-after class-
we were cleaning the room and saw Beatrice and the others leaning against the window
I also went to check...it was Cash and Ira. Cash said something to Ira.
Then Ira ran away smiling with her hands on her left face, she was blushing.

"hey! Cash!" Beatrice shouted making Cash look at our window.
Cash put a thumbs up.
I quickly got down and walked outside.

Cash POV
I walked to my locker then saw a piece of paper and saw a "NO"  I was waiting for y/n's response and this is what I got. Well, there's no turning back now.

back to y/n
I walked out to the corridor and Chase called me
"y/n!" Chase called me. I stopped, turned around tearing up.
He went closer to me.

"you like him, don't you?" Chase asked worried.
I was just silent and he comforted me.

I went home and slammed myself on the bed
I took out the orange drink that Cash had got me and drank it, I was crying. I didn't know that it was this painful. I looked out the window seeing Cash walking home and immediately closed the curtains making my room dark and started crying even more
"I love him, damn it, why am I always too late"
then I just cried to sleep.
