In the early 1900s there were around 100,000 tigers now only 3,000-4,500 exist in the wild.
Tigers are in fact larger and stronger than Lions.
Height: 3 1/2 at shoulder
Weight: 400-675 lbs. biggest to 220-310 lbs. Females of all subspecies are smaller.
