Biggest cat in the world. average male stands 12ft on hind legs and weighs half a ton. Father a lion. Mother a tiger.
They do not appear in the wild.
I'm the 1930s in South Africa a tiger (female) and lion (father) were put in the same cage. Surprisingly they didn't fight in fact they made love and the liger was born.
There teeth are 2in long. Females can produce offspring by mating with full tiger or lion. Males are completely unfertile.
They can live longer than 20 years. There are no black ligers but there are white ligers that are extremely rare. They are very gentle animals.
