[ ONE MONTH LATER ]

"could you just leave the bloody girl alone?" kol shouted. "you're... changing her."

"I may have taught her how to dance but she's the one dancing on the tables" klaus responded.

"a month ago she didn't even know she was a psychic, now she's killed a man. I wonder who's at fault here." kol argued.

"stop moaning about your little crush. besides, the bastard deserved to die."  klaus rolled his eyes, exiting the room.

kol was beyond annoyed with his brother. he sat on the couch before picking up a wine glass and throwing it across the room. the glass shattered instantly, yet kol didn't feel any better. klaus wasn't wrong, the bastard did deserve to die; hell, kol would've murdered the asshole himself. he tried to come on olivia when she had clearly rejected him; that thought alone made kol's blood boil. but, he knew that her murdering someone would still take a toll on her, and so kol couldn't help but wish that he had done the bloody deed himself.

ever since that night he couldn't help but notice a small change in her. it was subtle, yes, but everything starts somewhere. she stopped making music, something which used to constantly cloud her thoughts, he hadn't seen her beautiful smile in way too long, and she never expressed any emotions of that night. no sadness, no guilt, not even joy; she was just... blank.

olivia walked into the room, immediately eyeing the broken glass on the floor. "well, aren't you just a ball of sunshine today." she said sarcastically, before taking a seat beside Kol on the couch. "What's got you in such a doozy?"

Kol slightly smiled at her words — she always had such a weird vocabulary — he found it quite amusing. "oh nothing" he lied "just my bastard of a brother."

Olivia gave his hand a comforting squeeze before leaning her head on his shoulder. olivia pretended to believe his lie, but she knew the truth. she had heard the whole conversation, in fact. she knew he was worried about her, and she appreciated it, of course, but she just felt so drained. she pretended to feel nothing, but she would go home and immediately take off her emotionless mask. she would cry some nights, and other nights she would fall asleep on a blank notebook begging for song lyrics; song lyrics she just couldn't write. she didn't want to come off as weak, and she definitely didn't want to throw herself a pity party, so she kept her feelings to herself. but she wasn't upset because she killed a man, she was upset because she didn't regret it.

olivia had come up with a plan, a rather stupid plan, but a plan alas. she wanted to find a vampire to turn her. it was perfect; klaus would be out of her hair about the whole psychic thing because she would just be your average vampire. olivia used that as an excuse but truth be told, she just wanted to be a vampire. is that so hard to believe, is immortality such a wrong thing to desire? who the fuck wants wrinkles? not olivia.

olivia wanted to ask kol but she was sure he would deny her, he whined over her killing someone, she was sure he wouldn't want her going all bloodsucker.

so there she stood, in the woods leaning against a tree awaiting the arrival of Jason. Jason was some random vampire she had met through Klaus, an extremely horny one. she would just seduce him and make him give in.

"olivia grande" she turned around at the voice, "I must admit, I did not expect a call from you." he said with a smirk.

"yes well, I am a woman of surprises." she said, inching closer to him, "it is one of my many talents." she continued. she tried her hardest not to fucking gag.

"mhm and what are your other talents?" he replied smugly.

she put her hand to his crotch, feeling it instantly harden through his jeans. "why don't I just show you?"

and she almost did- that was until he was forcefully pushed off of her and sent running out the woods.

"jesus christ kol"

but the person who turned around to meet her was not kol.
