I still had a while before my shift started, so I just hung out at the place until closing time. Sure enough, Freddy and his friends came out one more time and played more songs. Admittedly, they were very catchy.

"Alright, kiddies!" Freddy told the kids. "It's time for us to get some sleep!"

The kids all 'awwwwww'-d with upset tones.

"But don't worry! We'll be back here for you tomorrow!"

The kids all cheered. I gave a small smile as I wondered if the old Freddy Fazbear's Pizza used to be like this.

"Say good night, Bonnie!" Freddy told the purple bunny.

"Good night!" Bonnie told everyone.

He had an average masculine voice.

"Good night, Bonnie!" The kids replied.

"Say good night, Chica!"

"Good night, everybody!" The robotic yellow chicken said with a wave.

Her voice was high pitched, but it was better than that awful screeching her and the others made back home.

"Good night, Chica!" The kids replied.

"Say good night, Foxy!"

"Yar!" The pirate fox called from Pirate Cove. "Good night, ye landlubbers!"

"Good night, Foxy!"

I could also hear some kids say a few 'yar!'s.

"And don't forget YOUR good night, Freddy!" Bonnie and Chica said simultaneously.

"I won't," the brown bear said with a chuckle. "Good night, children!"

"Good night, Freddy!!" All the kids shouted back.

With that, the band played their instruments as the curtain closed.

"Ok, everyone!" I heard the manager say through the speakers. "It's 5 minutes until closing time! Please gather your things and head home for the night! We hope to see you all tomorrow for another magical day at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza!"

With that, the parents got up and gathered their children. Many kids were begging to not leave, but they were dragged out by their parents anyway.

By 9:00, the place was empty. The only people inside were me and the manager, as well as a few employees.

"I got nothing else to do until my shift," I admitted to the manager.

"Well, I guess you can stay here," she told me. "As long as you don't cause trouble!"

"I won't," I swore.

I realized I was the worst person to keep promises.

She then nodded and went around to the other employees.

My phone then rang. I pulled it out and saw it was Macey. I had forgotten about her! This was going to be fun to explain to her...

I answered the phone.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Mike?!" She asked in a worried tone. "It's late! Are you okay?!"

"I'm fine, Macey. I've got everything figured out."

"What do you mean? Did you find the suit yet?"

"Not yet... But I think I will tonight."

"What do you mean?!"

"I... got a job here."

Silence. As expected.

"Why?" She finally asked.

"It's the only way I can get in the backstage area."

"Is it the only way?"

"It is. But I should be fine. This place is AMAZING!"

"... I'm just worried."

"I know. But I'll be fine. I swear."

"Ok...I love you, Mike."

"I love you, too, Macey. I'll call you later."

"Ok... Good night. And good luck."

She hung up. I put my phone away. I sorta felt nervous about my new job, but what was the worst that could happen?
